This is my first new car purchase and he made the experienc I just recently bought a 2018 Ford Expedition Max with the help of Tyler at Felix Sabates. This is my first new car purchase and he made the experience a breeze! With a growing family, I quickly realized my former car just wasn’t going to cut it with book bags, sports gear, strollers and more. So as my husband and I set off to find the perfect car (with a 7 month old in tow) you can imagine the pressure I was sure I’d experience. This was totally not the case. Tyler’s personality was so easy-going and you could tell he genuinely wanted to ensure everyone (even little Ella) enjoyed every aspect of our soon to be new ride! On top of that, while he and my husband worked the legistics out, Ella and I spent time bonding in the sound-proof play area, which naturally helped calm both of us, during fussy times. I don’t know when I could even think about wanting a new car (because mine is PERFECT) but if I did, I would surely drive 2.5 hours back to see Tyler at Felix Sabates! Michael in financing worked so diligently with us considering the late hour on a Sunday and the fact that we had quite a drive back home. He explained everything in terms that were easy to understand. Both Mike and Tyler have called to make sure that I am still 100% happy with my purchase and are such relatable, genuine people who have easily won my “seal of approval”. Side note- my car got an A+++ rating from our 8 year old. His exact words when we got home with it:” I hope this car has a no take-back, no refund, no replacement promise because I want this bad boy when I start driving!” More

Blindsided, treated poorly I had previous experience with Felix Sabates at their Mercedes dealership in Charlotte (ask for Dave R-- great salesman, great follow through, honest I had previous experience with Felix Sabates at their Mercedes dealership in Charlotte (ask for Dave R-- great salesman, great follow through, honest man), so why not buy a nice top of the line F350 Platinum from the Ford dealership of the same name? I had a miserable buying experience with Melvin and his boss, Eric Mann. After deal was negotiated, which amounted to only 500 off the asking price, i waited 3 days to get the invoice (I live 4 hours away). I was shocked to see the invoice had $799 "doc fee" in addition to the 218 for license/tag. I felt pretty blindsided by this big fee, and Melvin wrote me "you didn't inquire." How would I know to inquire about a fee I did not know existed. No explanation. His boss, Eric Vann, could not or would not explain it to me either, and stated he "did not have to sell" me this truck and that he planned on backing out of the deal. I NEVER said i wanted to get out of the deal, but I did want an explanation of the charge. That never happened. Finally had to go to partner Mark Frick, after now spending most of my morning as wasted, frustrating time. Mark was more reasonable and "allowed" me to buy the truck as planned the next day, and just to end the pain of this buying experience, I paid the 799. Clearly this is simply a profit center that makes people angry when it cannot be explained by anyone as other than that. I would never buy a vehicle from the Ford there again. Although both Eric and Mark knew the exact time I would be at the dealership to close the deal, neither one of them showed to greet me or to make things right. Disappointing. More
