Car Sold after deposit made!!!! On Tuesday April 7, 2020 I inquired about a 2016 Ram Truck from Felix Sabates. I received a phone call from the Sales Person Dawn Edgerton. We agreed On Tuesday April 7, 2020 I inquired about a 2016 Ram Truck from Felix Sabates. I received a phone call from the Sales Person Dawn Edgerton. We agreed on a price and she recommended me to put down a security deposit to ensure no one would get the vehicle once the deposit was made. So I said I was going to come in to the dealership to see the vehicle in person to see if I like the vehicle. I live 45 minutes away and with Covid-19 going on I didn’t want to come in contact with many people. I went to the Dealership and test drove the truck and put down my $300 per the Used Car sales Manager Brenner McLain, to hold the truck until Friday April 10, 2020. On Wednesday April 8,2020 I received a call from the Internet Sales Manager Jillian Jones to follow-up to see if I am still interested in the 2016 ram truck I told her I was, my sales person was off this day, I told her I was approved and I was sending a copy of the check on Thursday April 9,2020 and taking delivery of the vehicle on Friday April 10, 2020. On Thursday morning 9:32 am April 9,2020 I received a text from my sales person Dawn Edgerton that my 2016 Ram truck was being detailed and was ready for delivery tomorrow Friday April 10 ,2020. I replied back and said great. At 11:27 AM that morning I sent my sales person Dawn Edgerton a copy of the approved check from my Credit Union that was being next day aired to the dealership from my 2016 Ram Truck. At 12:38 PM I got a text from my sales person Dawn Edgerton that the truck was finished being detailed, I was happy and said great I will see you tomorrow when I come in and take delivery of my 2016 Ram truck that I put a DEPOSIT DOWN ANS SENT THE COPY OF THE CHECK FROM THE CREDIT UNION. ON Thursday at 6:35 PM I received a phone call from my sales person stating that my 2016 Ram Truck was sold. I was upset and asker her could I call her back in 5 minutes to cool down. I called her back and asked how could this happen, I asked to speak to a Manager and she said a manager would call me, but no one called that night. On Friday April 10, 2020 I called the Dealership as soon as it opened and asked to speak to the General Manager Sean Haggerty, I left him 6 voicemails and never did receive a call back. I checked the tracking number for my check the was sent out by my Credit Union and they received the check and signed for it at 9:43 AM that morning. My sales person finally called after I left her 5 voicemails and asked when could I come out to see another Truck that they would work with me for what happened. I told her I would be out in 1 hour, I live 45 minutes away and I needed to get my check also. I asked her can I speak with a manager she said one would call me. I received a call from The Used Car Manager Brenner McLain, the first thing that came out of his mouth is that I lost the 2016 Ram Truck because I didn’t come to my appointment on Thursday April 9 at 3:30PM, he did not apologize and he was rude. I told him the first thing you need to do is put the customer at ease, he repeated I did not come to my appointment. Which I never had an appointment since I had already been given details for picking up the vehicle that Friday. When I got to the Dealership I asked for my check and to speak to the General Manager, I was told he was busy and that he would be out. Then a new sales person came out to show me a vehicle that was $10,000 more then my previous truck and wouldn’t come down on the price at all, NONE. I asked why isn’t my sales person helping me and I was told I’m your sales person today from a young man. After being at the Dealership for over an hour the General manager came out with my check and apologized and said the Dealership and his Used car Sales Manager was completely wrong and was happy the way I handled it I wasn’t arguing. The General Manager said he would have cursed out his Used car Sales Manager if he was me. I told the General Manager that was a Disabled Veteran with 3 tours and I value life more then the average person and I try not to get upset with all my Meds that I take for PTSD AND TRAUMA. I would never go back to the Dealership or recommend this Dealership, if I could give this Dealership a 0 Star I would. PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP, WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD PURCHASING A VEHICLE AND THEN TO ACT AS IF IT WAS MY FAULT AND NOT TO MAKE ANY CONCESSIONS FOR ME AFTER SPENDING MORE THAN 4 HOURS OF TRAVEL TIME. Four (4) days later my old Sales Person called me and asked was I still in the Market I told her to never I mean never call me again!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED BASED OFF MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS FELIX SABATES FORD!!!!! More
