I bought my first Lincoln, yesterday evening. Clint Drews was great to work with and helped put the deal together that lead to the purchase. I stopped to look, but did not intend to buy at the time, but Clint took the time to show me all of the features of the Aviator and didn't rush through the process. Clint and Brian Green worked together as a team to gather the necessary documentation and finalize the deal. Ervin James in the finance department put the final touches on everything and he worked efficiently but still took time to explain the financing part of the deal. I have heard people talk about the Lincoln experience and the team at Mark Ficken lived up to the expectations. Thanks Drew, Brian and Ervin! More
Before choosing to do business with Mark Ficken Ford, please read this review to better understand their business practices and warranty policies: I was recommended to the dealership for a work truck please read this review to better understand their business practices and warranty policies: I was recommended to the dealership for a work truck by my partner who was the Customer Satisfaction Manager for 7 years for the company that owns the dealership and knows the Service Manager & Mark Ficken personally. I was told 6-12 months & $150K for a new work truck. Unable to wait, I purchased a 2019 with less than 12,000 miles, a clean Carfax, and still under the Powertrain Warranty. The truck broke down. We had the truck towed to Mark Ficken Ford due to the promise of excellent service and excellent warranty coverage. Took close to 6 weeks for the vehicle to get into the shop but was I repeatedly told it was worth the wait. The diagnosis came back as a total transmission failure due to water intrusion. 1st theory was that the vehicle was involved in a flood. We asked for documented evidence since it is discoverable by a qualified person and its against the law to sell a flood vehicle. Unable to furnish evidence of flood or neglect, 2nd theory was a transmission dipstick seal leak, but after realizing it too was under warranty, they concocted the 3rd theory of a crack in the dipstick tube and said it could not be warrantied because the dipstick tube is not under warranty. Based on the theory #3, we were directed by the Service Manager (Lolli) to contact Ford about the warranty coverage. She promised to advocate on our behalf (photo of text). Ford denied the claim and then we discovered that the service department told them that it was a non-warranty issue. We met with Mark Ficken to discuss the issues and our concerns. He called the shop foreman in, who provided a number of “wild theories” as to what happened which all but excluded the war in Ukraine, but ultimately admitted after questioning that he had no personal knowledge of the situation nor had he inspected the vehicle. Mark also called his warranty administrator. He too stated he had no personal knowledge of the vehicle. The Warranty administrator then stated that his hands were now tied in advocating for assistance since we had reached out to Ford as directed by the Service Director. No one involved with the warranty claim that we or Mark spoke with personally reviewed OR inspected the truck. We requested evidence of the alleged cracked dipstick. The break on the dipstick is clean and bright with no signs of rust or corrosion (see photo). Signs that would have been evident had it been broken long enough to allow water intrusion and rust out the transmission as claimed. This water would also need to defy physics and travel over the engine then under the firewall (photo). In addition, we requested a multipoint Inspection, oil change and filter replacement. I was told their maintenance pricing was fair. After paying them almost $300/HR in labor, I inspected the truck and was more upset to find oil dripping from the oil filter and a filthy air filter. The inspection video sent to me was a joke (see video). Mark admitted that he nor any member of his team can inspect a vehicle to determine cause after the fact. We were then told that a discount was being provided on the work but It was still $2,000 higher than the local Powerstroke repair shop for the same work. If that is the pricing & service they offer friends, I cannot fathom how they treat the average customer. Mark was quick to tell us, we can pursue a legal claim but the team of attorneys at Ford will destroy us. This is very upsetting considering Ford posted a $17.8 billion profit in 2023. My partner, who has owned 9 Fords (3 from Mark Ficken Ford) is appalled & embarrassed and has vowed to never buy another Ford or deal with Mark Ficken Ford again. I was taught at a young age by my father: (1) a warranty is only as good as the person offering it and (2) integrity should never be sacrificed for profit. Caveat Emptor! More
Awesome experience never felt that my time was not valued from the moment I arrived. I got the chance to work with Ashton Jones or AJ, he was great from selection to sale. Very professional, listened to my from the moment I arrived. I got the chance to work with Ashton Jones or AJ, he was great from selection to sale. Very professional, listened to my concerns and I never felt like a number to him. I cannot express how much of a great experience I had at this dealership from everyone that I came in contact with to driving off with my wife dream vehicle. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop in and see AJ, he will get you what you need and out of there without the pressure of the car buying experience. More
This is to update my previous negative review. The dealership reached out to me to discuss my issues. They have since resolved my issues and I have to commend them on their service. Best car purchase experience ever! Salesman was very professional and knowledgeable- highly recommend Tatum Macomson. In addition, after my purchase the dealership was helpful and in Salesman was very professional and knowledgeable- highly recommend Tatum Macomson. In addition, after my purchase the dealership was helpful and interested in answering any questions that I had ( e.g. Phil Coury, Finance). Most important was that the dealership (Malcom and the other personnel that I spoke and met) wanted to ensure that I would be happy with my purchase ( and not in just "moving" cars off the lot.) More
