I had called several days in advance to make an appointment for a buyer to buyer, i was coming from about 3 1/2 hours away for a 5pm appt. A few days before, I called and confirmed and stated that appointment for a buyer to buyer, i was coming from about 3 1/2 hours away for a 5pm appt. A few days before, I called and confirmed and stated that I’d be coming with my truck to see if they could load the bike if the paper work goes well, the person said yea no problem (everything was yea yea). Day of, while en route the dealership tells me the bike can’t leave the dealer with out tires because it failed safety inspection and they don’t have tires in stock. I was then informed the owner had a tire package (vip) and could have gotten them for free and pay for mount and balance but you were “out of stock”. As i already planned to make the trip, i asked the dealer what options did i have to get the bike home and was told i could bring tires and they can put them on but, I would have to pay for mount and balance. I then drove to a dealer in MA (sister store, High octane) and picked up a stock set of tires for $618 and then met the seller at the dealer (Manchester Harley, NH) where I looked over bike in the rain. While doing some paper work the salesperson approaches the seller and goes “are you sure you want to sell for this price?!” The seller and I already had a agreement/ cash deal I was just taking over his loan. In all of my years as a car salesman, I would never say such a thing to interrupt a sale. The sales person proceeds to tell me they don’t make anything on these buyer to buyers. I said well, same when someone brought back a lease but that’s our job right? It’s now 6:30pm and papers are being signed and the bike is still in the rain and tires are at service. I asked service when the tires were going on because the woman on the phone told me they would put them on. Well, that was a lie because the techs left at 6. The service advisor said he could have the tires done by Thursday which didn’t help me driving all that way up in a truck loaded with a wheel chock, ramps and straps. Frustrated I said I’ll pick it up Sunday. Friday or Saturday, I get a call and ask how my experience was and I said not so great and explained everything above and asked because of my horrible experience maybe they could throw in a little detail, He said he’d talk to his manager. The dealer calls Sunday, I said I’d hope to be there for a 1pm pick up, i had gotten Delayed so I call back and say 3pm. Traffic was bad, so I get there at 4pm and the bike is nowhere. I’m approached by salesperson saying so and so will be with you shortly as he’s going over another bike with a customer. Half hour goes by as all I’m doing is picking up the bike to ride home, it’s paid for everything is signed. I approach salesperson again and was told go to service desk they’ll get it. At service, another person approached me asking me where my plate is (luckily I brought my unregistered CT plate) because my temp plate wasn’t even on the bike yet, only for them to tell me it doesn’t fit my plate holder after they found it. Now, I had to put my unregistered plate on outside in parking lot. To top all of this off, the bike was just as filthy as it was when I first saw it In the rain.(In CT even after a simple service my bike would come out sparkling clean) I have pictures of the wheels of nothing but fingerprints and glue from the weights they removed to re balance. I’m sure I would have been treated better if I bought something off the showroom floor. I’m sorry you guys offer a buyer to buyer where salespeople don’t make anything but the dealer still gets a $699 doc fee. More

I'm not thrilled with the customer-relation from any Harley Dealership. The salesmen are arrogant, and are rude to their customers with one exception Jeff Gregoire. This gentleman is the epitome of wh Harley Dealership. The salesmen are arrogant, and are rude to their customers with one exception Jeff Gregoire. This gentleman is the epitome of what a sales person should be. Very welcoming, and knowledgeable of the products, bends over backwards, to help the customer find what they are looking for, and goes above & beyond to help the customer achieve their satisfactory goals. I wish more sales people had Jeff's attitude, and characteristics when approaching customers. He listens to the customers needs and does everything possible to make those come out as best as possible. There is no bait & switch, or game playing from Jeff, he tells you straight up whether the bikes you're looking for is available or it isn't. If more sales people had his mentality, things would be alot better for any dealership with salesmen/women like Jeff. More

Here's a chronicle of my waste of time experience with this terrible manchester harley davidson dealer. I inquired about a bike found on their website. Then I was bombarded with spammy texts, emails, and phone calls. After I responded I was told to visit and they would show me the bike. After a substantial commute I arrived the next day only to be told they couldn't find the bike and they thought it was sold (bait and switch tactics). They then started to push bikes on me. Although it was well over my budget that I mentioned to the very green sales person, I test drove a bike and liked it. They made me sit for 2 hours haggling on a price...I finally made an offer that was only $500 below their price that was refused. So after a 3 hour visit I left. The next day I decided for $500 I would meet their price if they were able to add a passenger back rest. After more waiting on the phone their staff came back and said "they would work something out". I agreed and the rep asked for a $500 deposit. She then put me on hold. After taking me off hold she stated that her sales manager demanded I be there in an hour to make the purchase. I then said earliest I could be there was tomorrow. She said she's off. I said okay how about Tuesday. She said okay. Another long hold on the phone. She comes back and states the sales manager reneged on the deal and said you can't put a deposit down and needed to come in within an hour!? At this point I was very jaded by this xxxx poor customer experience. I wasted a lot of time enduring just about every frowned upon sales tactic with these jokers. If you want to waste time and be strong armed, pressured into a deal then this is the place for you. I'm taking my well qualified buying xxx elsewhere where a customer is treated with respect. More
