I received exceptional service from the Malloy Chevrolet team when I took my vehicle to be serviced. I ordered a replacement rear back-up camera for my Buick Envista. They were expedient with service. They had a shuttle drop me off at work and pick me up during my lunch break. They also did a great job detailing my car and had it looking showroom ready. Since Malloy bought Jim Price Chevrolet, service prices are exorbitant and I will be searching for service elsewhere; even if I have to drive to Augusta County or RVA! I had an appointment for an oil change. Typically I am aware of what is being done to my car and I usually am given options to say yes I would like this service and or no thank you, I would Typically I am aware of what is being done to my car and I usually am given options to say yes I would like this service and or no thank you, I would like to get that done next time. Today, I went in and said I was there for my basic oil change. As I am waiting in the lobby, I think everything is fine since no one has come to update me on my car. Next thing I know I am being called to say my car is ready and as I approach the payment desk. I am greeted with $156 and some change. To my shock I asked why is it so much. I never pay more than $80? They tell me that for every 5k miles they do all these things to your car. Rotation, brake inspection, check tire pressure. Etc. I was not given the option to say no to these things. Instead they told me oh I can give you a discount to bring down the price. Which dropped it to $123 and some change. Usually I fight and argue. Part of me feels like I was taken advantage from. I thought I could trust the people I bring my car to. So many new faces and it seems that the integrity has gone away. I know for a fact that my tire pressure was not checked because they all have different tire pressures. I called to speak to the manager and I was told to call back later. I called again, and couldn’t get through. I am upset and lost trust in my favorite dealership, more upset because I had in my mind that I needed X amount of $. Silly me for thinking that way. I have to get my dog her medicated food today and since I was over charged at the dealership, I have to figure something out. My dog has bladder cancer and is on a prescription diet. So now I can’t pay for her food because I didn’t factor in being taken advantage of from the dealership. Usually I am pretty good at budgeting. Yet I didn’t think/need/ feel like I had to factor in a bunch of men taking advantage of me, Over charging me on an oil change for my Chevy Malibu. Not sure if this is a place I want even remotely trust anymore. Not to mention the fact one of the guys holding his junk joking with a former employee as I was walking up to the desk, then telling me I can’t have a copy of the entire paperwork they want me to sign. Said he can print it off again.To an extent I understand that, I asked him to make a copy of the actual paperwork from the copier and he kept telling me no. Then when I kept asking for it he told me to keep the original one and that they are pulling out my ride for me. I said thank you and went to my car. In my mind half of me wanted to fight and then the other half wanted to leave. I am torn. My vehicle was not serviced like they told me it was. I paid for it and the work was half assed. It saddens me that society has come to this and that people think this is okay. I am not okay with this. I trusted this place, I am a repeat customer and this is the service I get? A loyal customer that up until today enjoyed coming to the dealership. I also know that I am 1 person and what I say doesn’t really matter. However, at least someone will listen to me, even if it doesn’t make a difference later on down the road. More

I am very dissatisfied in the treatment that I got after being a customer of Jim Price Chevrolet for the number of years that I’ve been in business. I brought my truck in. I don’t know why they didn’t go check it self they put an injector in it and then call back and said Lines was leaking and I had to replace those come to find out. I had a blown motor cost me 1900 and some dollars for nothing. My truck is just as bad the same way it went in. It’s the same way it come out. I don’t think it’s fair but I paid the bill. More
