Showed up for my appointment early and was greeted with enthusiasm at the driveway. My 4Runner has 17500 and the 4Hi, 4LO, 2H shifter knob was rattling so it should be covered under the 25k warranty. The techs said it had looked like the cap on the knob had been pried and glued. I have only taken my car to Maita for service other than my original purchase from Downtown Toyota in Oakland (Maita did not have this trim in the color I wanted when I purchased). They had my car for half the day and wanted to charge $105 for a part that was $60. The knob just screws on and off the shifter and should be, at most, a 5 min job. I will take my car elsewhere for service. More

I spent more than $400 on a maintenance package.. the windshield wiper I purchased based on the recommendation from your service people.. they installed a DEFECTIVE WINDSHIELD WIPER .. it’s the rainy season currently.. they replaced it free .. but they made me wait an hour for it to be installed.. anyone with experience knows it DOES NOT TAKE an hour to install ONE windshield wiper..
