Great service does not occur much anymore and buying a car is generally a total pain because of the nonsense and general dishonesty of the dealership and of the sales person. I just found an outstanding exception to this statement with Maita Toyota and sales-guy Randy Calhoun. We just bought a Camry from Maita, a great car at an outstanding price. Randy is truly a professional. He is a no-nonsense person and what he tells you happens. I appreciate his honesty, knowledge and straight forwardness. I would recommnd Randy to any prospective buyer and I look forward to buying a car from him in the future. Thank you Randy for your good work. More

Randy didn't have one on his lot, but he was INCREDIBLE at searching all over the whole west coast to help me find my car. Even when it turned out that we both knew he wouldn't be able to make a sale to me, he STILL remained involved in my quest for a vehicle. He was so nice, professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and responsive the whole time. I am bummed I won't be working with him through the paperwork process, but I guarantee--- next time I need to buy a car, even though I live 2 hours away, I'M CALLING RANDY FIRST! A Grand Sienna....for the Grand Canyon!! Did all my A Grand Sienna....for the Grand Canyon!! Did all my research, I knew the model, color, options and was ready to buy. After searching with dealers in A Grand Sienna....for the Grand Canyon!! Did all my research, I knew the model, color, options and was ready to buy. After searching with dealers in my home state in Arizona, no dealer stocked it or was willing to do any real work of getting me the van I wanted, they all wanted me to take a lesser model off their lot... NO way, this is going to be my families main form of transportation for the next decade. So, I searched online, nation-wide, over 13,000 Sienna's but the SE model has less than 500 nationwide, now add in a dvd player and navigation less than 25, I drill down a bit further and....Miata had THE EXACT VAN and the best value in the entire country hands down!! They were $4K less than anyone and believe me I do my homework, edmonds, cars and consumer reports.com My first contact was with Chris Welch, confirmed model/options and price BUT was not sure how to handle this type of out of state transaction. So, that landed me with Randy, no nonsense approach yet easy to talk to but at first, he seemed a bit weary of me calling from the Grand Canyon National Park (about 2000 residents) and over 800 miles away! I wanted this transaction to work and I told Randy I was not a tire kicker, give me the hard numbers, and we have deal. That's exactly what happened, so in 48 hours, I booked a flight to Sacramento, Randy picked me up at the airport, a test drive, paperwork, a little orientation review on how to work all the bells and whistles on the new MANVAN and 3 hours later...I was on the highway, with full tank of gas (courtesy of Miata) for my 800 mile roadtrip back to the Grand Canyon. EVERYONE at the dealership was pleasant, even the bloodsucker in finance, honestly a real nice, genuine staff, that wants to to do a good job and they want the customer to walk away feeling like a human being and part of a family. I would have NO ISSUES doing business there again. These guys now that word of mouth and treating people right is more important than anything else! **I was not influenced to write this review by the full tank of gas nor the pick up at the airport by Randy :) hahah More
Buying from Randy was easily my best car-buying experience yet. He came up with a very creative way to find the exact vehicle I wanted, when I had previously tried to get the job done with 2 other experience yet. He came up with a very creative way to find the exact vehicle I wanted, when I had previously tried to get the job done with 2 other dealers (I wasted 3 months with the other dealers). I had honestly begun to lose hope that anyone could obtain the vehicle I wanted (2012 manual-transmission, double-cab, metallic gray TRD-Sport Tacoma). Randy came up with a viable game plan within 48 hrs. The plan required coordinating with another dealer in Pennsylvania and with the factory. After that, I just had to wait 5 weeks for the vehicle to be finished and shipped. Randy is a no-surprise guy. Everything happened exactly as we had discussed and emailed. Anyone afraid of car-shopping should go see Randy. He will dispel any negative notions you might have about a car salesman. I'm not surprised at all to see that Randy gets consistent high-marks on these reviews. Thanks again! More

I am so happy with my new 2012 Toyota Yaris SE. I had been in a week prior to see the 2012 Scion IQ. I wanted to see if it was as cute in person as it was on the internet. It was : ) But I had one more car in mind and that was the Yaris. As soon as I saw it I new I had to have it. I told the sales person I would be back for it. He kept trying to get me to test drive it. I told him that it would not be necessary because I loved it so much and new that it was the one. I told him as soon as I figure out how I was going to be able to afford it I would be back and that was a promise. I kept going on line to see if just by chance they were having a sale and in less than a week my baby was on sale : ) The exact one and color : ) God is so good to me : ) I went down that very day after work to get it and would you know it was sitting there in front waiting for me, so I thought. They told be someone had just purchased it and my heart sank :( I guess I missed the part where it said 1 at this price? My internet salesman went to bat for me because I think he saw I devastated I was. Either that or I looked like I wanted to kill someone. Long story short Randy got me my car at the sale price and I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. Love my new Prius C! I visited many dealerships in pursuit of this car. I ended up choosing Maita Toyota because they not only had the best price, but were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had to drive 130 miles for the car, but it was well worth the drive. We agreed upon the price before I drove out and there were no surprises when I got there. They offered me a fair value for my trade in as well. Randy Calhoun was super friendly, going so far as to delay his vacation so he could help me with the sale and walk me through all the features of my new car. Excellent experience all around! Make sure Randy is the first person you call if you're looking for a Toyota. More
