My wife and I pursued an internet quote with Maita Toyota for a Prius V of $22250. We checked with a salesperson about the price and asked if we could get a different colored car, and she talked to her manag for a Prius V of $22250. We checked with a salesperson about the price and asked if we could get a different colored car, and she talked to her manager and then told us that the owners of the dealership wanted to sell that specific car at that price. We said we'd buy it. She told us that they couldn't hold the car for us and we'd have to come in asap. She couldn't even hold the car till the evening. We said my father could come in the evening (we were out of town) but she said she would not be on shift then, so come in pronto. If someone else came to buy it, they'd sell it to them. So my father took time off work and drove 48 miles round trip to Maita to buy the car. When he got there the salesperson told him that the price was a misprint (even though she had to calculate all the savings etc. as shown in her price quote, and had conferred with her manager about it). But she talked with her manger and got her manager to "lower" the actual price down to $23950 (which, of course, is still $1700 more than she quoted us). Fairly displeased with this style of business, we did not buy the car. Wasted time and money. And then, several hours later we noticed that on the Maita website the false quote was still advertised. I am so glad I read the reviews which lead me to stopping by at Maita Toyota. In the past, my experiences with sales people at other dealerships' was not as easy/smoothly going as Mehdi made it for me. All sales people at Toyota dealerships in Ca. should learn from Mehdi. He is the BEST. With all the good reviews he gets you know he must be doing something right. Maita Toyota is lucky and should be proud to have such an outstanding employee who represents the company like he does. I like giving credit where credit is due and there's no doubt Mehdi deserves credit. I would certainly refer family and friends to see Mehdi. In today's world we need good, honest, people who will listen to you and who really has the interest in helping you get the car you want. Mehdi has integrity and goes the extra mile. This was the most awesome experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. Buying a new car always causes me high anxiety to even think about. In the end, we actually got more than we had hoped for and we are both ecstatic with our new Taccoma and Rav4. I purchased my new Toyota from Al Rosenbloom 10 years ago. I went through CSAA fleet program, called dealers from Reno to Davis--for the best price. I chose Al because he was, and is, the most professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my detailed, analytical questions about the cars I was considering (after I read Consumer Reports). He treated me with the utmost respect. As a female, especially in the dealership world, often one is treated with disrespect. To this day, when I come in for something as small as an oil change, Al remembers me--and asks how my Toyota is running. He also answers all my questions regarding possible future purchases--even if I'm not going to be in the market for several years. Because of all the above-mentioned items, I have referred numerous customers to Al Rosenbloom. Bottom-line: I will be a repeat customer of his for my next vehicle purchase. (I couldn't imagine going to anyone else)! He is definitely worth his weight in gold! :) He has earned and deserves to receive double his salary, plus a new, free vehicle every year--with free gas. Al Rosenbloom is the rock star of the car dealership world! :) More
I brought my 2007 Toyota Corolla in to be serviced today because the Check Engine light is on and it was in need of an oil change. After waiting three hours, my keys were returned to me and I was told I was because the Check Engine light is on and it was in need of an oil change. After waiting three hours, my keys were returned to me and I was told I was ready to go. Once I started my car, I noted that the Check Engine light was still on so I went to check with my service representative as to why this was not addressed while my car was being serviced. According to my invoice, it was noted that my Check Engine light was on prior to service; however, during my service, the representative and technicians felt it unnecessary to check with me to see if I wanted my engine checked, instead, they gave me my keys and were going to let me drive off the lot with my car still in need of further service. I am extremely upset with this level of service. When an oil filter, air filter, or other needed work is recommended, I have always received a call in the past which informed of what needed to be done, and asked me if I would like the recommendations done or not; however, this time, with a Check Engine light on I was not informed at all. I had to point out to the employees that my car was not done being serviced and point out that the light was still on. This makes no sense to me. I was also informed that in order to then get my car looked at, I would have to wait an unknown amount of time, after waiting three hours already. I had plans to drive my car out of town for a week, which is why I took in to be serviced today. Now I cannot go, or have to find another means of transportation. I do not understand how this level of service is acceptable. I have been taking my car to Maita Toyota for 6 years and now feel like I never want to return and give them my business. I have been extremely inconvenienced and my car is still in need of service. I feel as I should have been notified and asked if I wanted my engine checked, the invoice clearly states that they noticed the Check Engine light was on, instead I was given my keys and was told I could drive off the lot. I do not want to do business with this dealership again and will not recommend to anyone I know, instead, I will be advising people to get their car serviced elsewhere, somewhere where the employees notify customers of work that needs to be done. Best car buying experience I have ever had. Medhi Raza was our salesperson. He was professional, helpful, and courteous, Medhi's expertise found us not one but two cars. He spent time finding them. In the end, he found the two cars for which we were looking. When we picked up the respective cars, they looked as if they were brand new. Best of all, we were so pleased with the price we paid for the cars. From our perspective, we got a GREAT deal on two used cars that looked as if they had just rolled off the showroom. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND Medhi to all of our friends who are in the market for a car. More
