My family has been buying, servicing and renting cars from Maita Toyota of Sacramento for over 30 years, even after moving out of town due to your great customer service. My family ended up buying two 2021 Camrys from Maita Toyota last week. I was disappointed that we didn't get any perks for being loyal customers for so long though. The first car I was going to get, I was offered a $4,228 perferred customer discount and another $1,500 off as flex cash and no money down. However, when I purchased this vehicle, I was only offered the standard promotion of $1,750 off that was advertised and a discounted rate on the 7-year/100,000 mile warranty but I learned that it doesn't include all the warranty features, just hotel/rental car reimbursement with battery repair since I bought a Hybrid. I ended up having to put down all my COVID-19 savings of $2,500 for my family since they wouldn't drop the price of the car a little more to help me lower my car note payment. My 71 year old mom was only offered the 4.9% APR that was advertised and a reduced price for GAP insurance, the 7-year/100,000 mile warranty and car alarm. She had to beg for car mats and was given some used ones. She bought a new Camry LE with push start and I bought a new Camry XSE with a sunroof and our car notes ended up being about $10 difference on a 7-year loan. The next morning I decided that I wanted to pay for my GAP insurance and anything else outside the price of the car to lower my car note some more. I was told this was doable and asked what day would I like to come in to set up that arrangement. We agreed on 3 days later and on that day I waited for a few hours after driving out of town before being seen. The finance manager told me that the original finance manager actually went ahead and sent my paperwork forward anyway so I cannot pay for anything separately after all, which was very upsetting to me for wasting a lot of my time and I wasn't able to do what was promised.
