Stay away from this dealership. I was way over my mileage at the end of my lease, so instead of a ‘lease return’, I came up with a deal with my salesman (original salesman from 2016 who I leased the vehicle at the end of my lease, so instead of a ‘lease return’, I came up with a deal with my salesman (original salesman from 2016 who I leased the vehicle from) who offered to pay let’s say $30k for the vehicle over the phone and via email. The residual value at the end of the lease was somewhere in the $31k range. So I agreed to pay the $1500ish in difference to get out of the vehicle which was WAY cheaper than the mileage overage fees. All that being said, I arranged to have my vehicle dropped off after we agreed on the numbers. A few days go by with my vehicle sitting at the dealership, I hadn’t heard a word from my salesman. He finally responded to my emails and stated the vehicle was apparently throwing a bunch of check engine/fault codes which made my vehicle worth thousands and thousands of dollars less, making it practically worthless. Respectfully, I stated there was no way that was possible since I had owned the vehicle since it was brand new. When asked, he could not recite to me exactly what codes it was throwing. Instead, the vehicle was suddenly thrown back onto my lap unexpectedly. (I thought since we had agreed on a specific number/deal, that the dealership would honor that no matter what, as long as the vehicle was given to them in the condition I had explained it was in, via emails and pictures, which it was.) To confirm my suspicions, that someone wasn’t telling me the truth, I plugged in multiple scanners to my vehicle and to absolutely zero surprise, the vehicle did not throw a single fault code on any scanners as well as having it looked over by my local mechanic who also confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with my vehicle. I sent pics of this proof along with an email to my salesman and never heard back. More

However, they made it right and resolved the issue (considering the car is still under warranty). A couple months later, I try to make an appointment because a turn signal bulb is out and the receptionist conveniently forgets to call me back. After getting in touch with the same advisor, I'm told the manager refuses to service my car because of my previous review. If they want 5 star reviews, they should do 5 star work. And if they do not allow poor review customers in their shop, then their 4+ star rating clearly doesn't mean anything. More

Worst dealership ever I recently bought a CPO Explorer. It's a 2014 Explorer with less than 29,500 miles on it. Within the first week that I had it the car I noticed that t I recently bought a CPO Explorer. It's a 2014 Explorer with less than 29,500 miles on it. Within the first week that I had it the car I noticed that the bumper was a shade off from the rest of the car so they repainted it to the factory color. They didn't know why it was a cream color when I had a white car. Then a week later the car would rumble when I would press down on the brake. I took it back to the dealership and they said that it was the rotors and they needed to be replaced. I said why do they need to be replaced if I'm buying a CPO and the car needs to have at least 50% left on everything. The dealership didn't have an answer but they fixed the issue. Then a few weeks later the brakes started to makes high pitch metal grinding sound. So I took it back to the dealership and they put something on the pads to make the grinding stop when I came to pick it up I heard the sound as I was pulling the car out of the dealership. Bruce the CPO manager got in the driver seat and took it for a drive and claimed he didn't hear anything. I asked for a technician and we went driving we didn't get out of the parking lot and he heard it. Brice said that they would replace the break pads but was really annoyed and said he "doesn't need me to come back as customer to his dealership again". I replied that this was all supposed to be checked out by the technicians before being put up for sale. Then within the first couple of weeks in the summer on a hot day I smelled something really bad coming from inside the car. I picked up the middle row and saw spots I was in touch with the sales person,Mike and he said he would tell Bruce. They never ever got back to me. I called the Ford Corporate office and opened a case but the dealership won't pay for it since I came to late to them. I said I've never eaten in the back of the car and there is spilled food that has clearly been sitting there for months and the carpet need to be changed. They won't do anything. And won't even apologize for the inconvenience they've caused. The CPO manager Bruce is absolutely disgusting to deal with and there customer service, and the servicing department is just as bad Would never recommend them to anyone. More
Got the truck I wanted with little hassle I was looking for my own car and looked at what sort of car would make a good fit. After thinking about my needs, personal and business wise, I though I was looking for my own car and looked at what sort of car would make a good fit. After thinking about my needs, personal and business wise, I thought a pickup would be a good fit. After doing some initial research, there was little doubt that I was going to get a Ford F150. I dug into the Ford website and visited some other dealerships closer to home to come to get a good idea of the right model, options, packages, exterior/interior colors, etc. After a few weeks, I had a pretty good idea of the truck I wanted and the price I wanted to pay for it (thank you TrueCar). I went to Ford.com, searched for inventory, and found a few trucks. Most of them had certain options that were missing, but there was one that had everything I wanted and a bit more. However, the truck was in Mahwah, about an hour away from me. I went to my local dealership and told them about the truck, but 1) I wasn't getting decent pricing and 2) I wanted to see the truck for myself. I felt bad for the sales consultant at the local dealership, it wasn't his fault in regards to the pricing. I went to Mahwah, test drove the truck with Richard Bennett (nice British dude), and then went home to figure out what I wanted to do (wait a few months and get a 2018 model, or go back and figure out a way to get the truck). I called the dealership the next day and Richard was unfortunately not working that day, but I talked to a young sales consultant, John Salvatore, and he's the sort of guy I like dealing with because he's not your stereotypical "car salesman." After discussing some initial pricing and accessories over the phone, I went to the dealership, and sat with John, going over some other aspects of the car. It was 8:45pm and they were about to close, but John and I started working on the pricing and went back and forth for a while with his finance manager before coming to a deal at 9:30pm. John wasn't trying to push me (I think, as a tech savvy guy, he probably knew I had a number in my head from doing my research and I was trying to hit that number). We got to a deal that made sense for me (a little more down than I wanted and a longer term loan, but the pricing and payments were comfortable for me with an option to payoff quicker if I'd like). I told them I only wanted 1 company to run my credit, and by mistake they ran it with a few more companies, but they apologized and gave me a letter that would help me get those credit checks off of my credit report (it was an honest mistake). I went to pick up the car, had a nice, long discussion with the finance manager, Dennis Henry, and ended up having little time to go over the car with John. We rescheduled the time a few days later and John broke down everything I needed to know about the car and answered any questions I had. He also went over the accessories and we figured out what made the most sense for me. Overall, it was a good experience. John is a guy who knows cars and doesn't need to be gimmicky to sell you the right car with the right options for you at a good price. He's pretty straightforward and explained the truck and its features very well. So, if you're like me (analytical, breaks things down, straightforward, doesn't like all the gimmicky stuff and the pushing that car salesman typically do), John's a guy you'd like to deal with. He's relatively new to the business, and the younger generation would probably like dealing with him. I'd recommend John and the Mahwah Ford dealership in the future. More
