He listen carefully to my requirements and then worked to meet them. The result was that I am very pleased with my new Milan and my experience with the dealership. I expect to return there for service in the future. More
Never again will I go to this dealership nor will I recomend it to anyone. My wife and I went there on July 3rd to get me a used F-150 King Ranch truck. They sold the one I really liked but had another recomend it to anyone. My wife and I went there on July 3rd to get me a used F-150 King Ranch truck. They sold the one I really liked but had another one with alot of chrome on it. I told my salesman I would buy the truck as long as they would take off all the chrome. My salesman and the manager both said they could do that, that day so I did not get it in writing. So while we went in to do the paper work I thought the chrome was being taken off. Well that did not happen, they said that they were to busy to to do it today bring the truck back on Monday morning and it would be taken care of. So I sent my wife back on Monday which by the way is 85 miles, they told her they could not do it again. So I myself took off the chrome and never want to see those people again. I went as far as talking to my brother-in-law who is a lawyer I could have went to court but that is too much time and money. More
Delt with a salesman over the phone. I guess you could call it a internet purchase. I veiwed a vehicle on their website and got a call from one of their salesman. We discussed the vehicle, the trade, fina call it a internet purchase. I veiwed a vehicle on their website and got a call from one of their salesman. We discussed the vehicle, the trade, financing as far as what we wanted to pay etc. I asked him if he could sell us this vehicle on the terms he and I agreed upon. He said he would check with his sales mgr and let me know. He called me back and said his mgr agreed and they could do it. We proceeded with the credit app and waited for the reply. He called me the next day and said "when do you want to pickup your vehicle", I asked him again if the terms we agreed upon were firm because we didn't want to drive the 80 miles for nothing. He assured me we were all set. When we got there the next day we did the formalities with the test drive and the appraisal of our trade. When the paperwork was presented to us, everything was what we agreed upon, the trade, the monthly payment, EXCEPT the $8500.00 down payment they wanted. This down payment didn't even figure into the deal. Needless to say my wife and I were not speechless. They couldn't tell me why the down payment was required. We discussed the trade-in, the price of their vehicle and the monthy payment but they still had no explination as to why the big down payment. No doubt we left very upset with the way they were trying to do business. Let me say this. We have been shopping for a vehicle like this at other dealers. The only reason we went their was because they had the color I liked better. The vehicles were the same option for option. The deals we had with other dealers was for the same monthly payment give or take a few dollars. But none of the other dealers required the $8500.00 down. Guess who lost our business !!! More
I have purchased several used cars in my life, and this is the worst experience by far that I have ever had. The sales person, Neal was the biggest slime ball that I have ever encountered. I knew it as s is the worst experience by far that I have ever had. The sales person, Neal was the biggest slime ball that I have ever encountered. I knew it as soon as we pulled up and he was standing there like a vulture just waiting for us to get out of the car with a shady smile on his face. The car was for my girlfriend and not me, and she unfortunately fell in love with a car at first sight. (she lived and learned). I tried to persuade her to shop around more, but once she had her mind set on this car, she was determined. The vulture Neal and his used car manager could obviously sense this, as they got more pushy, rude and disrespectful as the sale went on. They refused to tell her what her annual percentage rate was for the financing, but only what her monthly payment would be. As we were test driving the car, it was making a noise that I could tell was not natural. There were 4 other identical cars on the lot, and I kept asking Neal if we could drive another one to see if it sounded the same. He just kept slithering around the question like the snake that he is, and almost refused to let us drive another car. She ended up purchasing the vehicle, and it has been nothing but problems since the second it drove off the lot. It turned out the sound that it was making was because the exhaust was duct taped together! (pretty thorough 40 point inspection). They also promised to fix a scratch that was on the rear fender, and when we brought it back to get the exhaust problem fixed, the used car manager reneged on his word and stated that he had never said that. Recently, my girlfriend was in an accident in her car, and the other Ford dealer that we took it to for the repairs showed us all of the damage that was there from a previous major accident that the car had been in. Please do yourself a favor and don't even pull on to the lot! Good luck More
Asked for a quote online. Received it in less than 15 minutes along with a phone call asking if I got all the information I needed. I wanted to know if I would qualify for 0% financing, and they had me f minutes along with a phone call asking if I got all the information I needed. I wanted to know if I would qualify for 0% financing, and they had me fill out app online and preapproved me. I called back the next day to set up a test drive and since I did most of the process online, they had me in and out in a little over an hour. Quick and simple just like I wanted. More

We purchased a $50,000 SUV and had to do things and put up with things that we never had from other brands. For instance: How long does it take to print finance paperwork? Maxwell can now get someone up with things that we never had from other brands. For instance: How long does it take to print finance paperwork? Maxwell can now get someone driving the new car 90 minutes after the test drive. It took us 3 hrs at Mac Haik. Also the F&I person messed up the Monthly payment (Typical at a Ford Dealership) I should have just walked out then, Mac Haik did not want to take my Low mileage 2004 BMW 325 as trade and I had the keys anyway. I brought my SUV back to get the inspection sticker, tint the 2 front windows and fill the tires with Nitro, promised time was 1:30pm but we had to wait around until 6pm. I had to program my own second keypad by looking up the instructions on the internet. The first try by Mac Haik did not work. I had to put on my own lic. plates and sticker. (Never had to at BMW, Nissan or other Ford dealers) I asked if I could get someone to put them on for me, and the person at the desk told me "no, we do not do that". More
We agreed upon a price with the dealer. They told us to come in and sign the papers. After going through the paper signing and financing process, which took over an hour. They increased the price by $100 come in and sign the papers. After going through the paper signing and financing process, which took over an hour. They increased the price by $1000. We asked why and they said they no longer wanted to give us the price they had agreed upon earlier. Although we were disappointed with the increased price, we were more upset about their dishonesty and poor business conduct. They could have told us the change in price as soon as we walked in the door and saved us (and our 20 month old son that we were trying to entertain for an hour) a lot of time. We did not end up buying the car from this dealer. Please think twice before shopping at this dealership and if you do have to shop here please review the final price very carefully as they probably try this tactic often hoping people will not pay attention to the final price they are signing on. If you like wasting time, they will help you at Mac Haik Ford in Houston Tx. Hopefully an entertaining read, and a lesson to others as well: I stopped by on a Friday night, because I saw one of the Ford in Houston Tx. Hopefully an entertaining read, and a lesson to others as well: I stopped by on a Friday night, because I saw one of their vehicles for sale on the internet. I know it was for sale for 25,998. Trained not to give away anything, chit-chatted with the sales guy, how about this car .. yes let's make a test drive. Test drive was fine, into his office. He is off to the manager, comes back: "Looks like it was a little more expensive than I said at first" (he said it would be around 26K before we made the test drive) : $27700 (about $30K drive out). I told him about the internet. We looked up the vehicle on his pc on their website (still at 25988). Eggs on his face, he did not know what happened, back to his manager. (For those initiated, this is part of the older games: wear you out. My advice - bring a computer game and play it while they are away, you will be amazed how much faster they are back in the office). Anyway, we do the back and forth for a while, and I leave because we could not get close enough on price. So far nothing new. Next day - I get "the call". Other manager came in, if I still want it, I can get it for the price I wanted it for yesterday. So I pack up the family, let's go for a testdrive. We arrive, and the game begins. Looking for the key ... where is it ... walk outside, take it from another salesmen. "You are here first, his customer is also coming in for a test drive". We get the key and drive off. We all like it, come back, tell him to get the contract so we can get on our way. Key disappears again, so does the car - with the other customer (we really never saw them, so I don't know whether they were there). It will be just five minutes, please wait in the office. I start the get the feeling that I know what is going on - they want to start a bidding war. This is not what I signed up for, so I told them: "Honour the price you said, or I will walk" . Apologies, apologies, but the other customer wants to pay more. So we leave. You might have guessed, but there was another call this morning. Larry (the sales guy) "I got upset with management, went over their head, and they will still sell you the car for the price you wanted". I said I would think about it (please ...) and looked on the website of the dealer. I was no longer surprised to see the car was still for sale. It turned out Larry is the internet fleet manager. I would think he would have been very aware of the internet price before. I can't blame people for trying to make a living, or a profit. But have we really come to this? I learned we haven't all the time, and found other dealers who operate with way more integrity. My 2cts - stay away from Mac Haik Ford. That's what I will tell my friends. More
