Summary of start to finish of finding and buying my truck at Mac Haik FLM. I found the truck online, filled out the credit application online, gave all my information through email and telephone to Tony N at Mac Haik FLM. I found the truck online, filled out the credit application online, gave all my information through email and telephone to Tony Nguyen. I was in and out of the dealership within an hour. Paper signing was quick and easy. The test drive went good. Everyone I had to speak to was very nice. Now the not so great parts. When asked about a dealership garuntee I was told by the salesman that there is a 30 day/4500 mile garuntee if something goes wrong I can bring it back. When I went to sign the papers, the finance man had me sign a paper that stated I was buying the truck as is and the warranty had expired. I said ok and signed but asked about the dealership garuntee, and he said, "oh no we don't have that" I said, "Tony told me there was a 30 day/4500 mile garuntee if something goes wrong" He replied, "Oh yea yea like if the engine quits on you we won't hang you out to dry we'll fix it." Now after hearing that I thought the conversation was a little "iffy" but didn't think anything of it. I signed the rest of the paperwork and left the lot driving the truck. From there, I took the truck to my dad's shop, and two of his mechanics looked at it. They found two things going wrong with the truck. The starter bendix is hanging and it can be heard hitting the fly wheel, it's not retracting, which means that gear will wear quickly and needs to be replaced. Also, the swaybar links are lose, the rubber bushings are worn out in them. Now, seeing as the salesman, Tony, told me that this truck had been through an inspection and nothing was found wrong with it, makes me wonder just how good the inspection was if my dad's mechanics found these two things wrong within 30 minutes of looking through and listening to the truck. I messaged Tony about the service the truck was going to need and his reply was "Really. We must of slop through the UVI. It should not be a major deal is it Ashlie. I mean you can see how well maintain the truck is. I'm sorry they didn't tight up." I replied back, "They need to be replaced. It'ssomething that could have cost me a little over $1500.00 if I wouldn't ahvehadit checked out. I'll get out somewhat cheaper since my mechanic caught it today." In which Tony replied, "It's a good thing you do it now too cause maybe months from now you have to get it replaced. When a vehicle pass the safety inspection for customer to drive, then we can put it for sale. It's a good truck Ashlie. Sorry for the inconvenience." Him stating "months from now" replacing these parts is not correct. I have to get them replaced within a few weeks. Not to mention the danger I coul be in and others if either of these parts stop working while I drove. The noise of the fly wheel not catching cannot be heard well while driving unless one is actually trying to listen for it, but after getting under the passenger side of the truck it can be heard clear as day. Seeing as I did not get the 30 day/4500 mile garuntee I was told about in writing I am guessing there is no such thing? A response to this customer satisfaction survey would be much appreciated. More
I was in the market for a 2011 F-150 for about a month or so and had the pleasure of working with Paul Roberage at MacHaik Ford. I live in San Antonio and drove over an hour and a half to trade in and purch so and had the pleasure of working with Paul Roberage at MacHaik Ford. I live in San Antonio and drove over an hour and a half to trade in and purchase a truck from Paul. He was excellent communicating online and the prices at MacHaik were several thousand dollars cheaper than any other Ford dealership in San Antonio. I drove into Georgetown after work and was driving home in my new truck a few hours later. The other Ford internet departments in San Antonio were always hesitant to give a price out over email or the phone and would insist on making you visit the dealership. Paul gave his rock bottom price, explained all of the incentives and also provided a trade-in evaluation all over email. The ONLY downside is, the dealership is so successful that the available vehicles on the website take a few days to update, so its very possible that you get to the dealership and the vehicle you wanted may not be there. However, I was able to find a great replacement since there were a few options that I was considering. I will recommend Paul and the staff at MacHaik to all of my friends and family who are looking to purchase a Ford or Lincoln. More
This site is a sham and a front, possibly maintained by the dealer itself. Way too much similarity of responses, particularly the narratives. I take our vehicle in to Mac Haik Ford for service, and they do the dealer itself. Way too much similarity of responses, particularly the narratives. I take our vehicle in to Mac Haik Ford for service, and they do a good job, but their prices are sky high. I'd take it elsewhere if I could, but they have me over a barrel. More
I went to Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown expecting a fast talking salesperson but was cheerfully greeted by CJ Fuson. I was told by everyone that big car dealerships were not the way to go, but they were def talking salesperson but was cheerfully greeted by CJ Fuson. I was told by everyone that big car dealerships were not the way to go, but they were defiantly wrong. CJ helped us find a great affordable car and worked with the bank so we could get the payments we could afford, unlike the ten thousand other dealerships we went to. The preowned Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown treated us like family. We are totally grateful for their help and for any one who has second guesses on going to this dealership DON'T! You won't regret buying your car from them! More
I bought a F350 DRW from Paul Roberge. He was excellent to work with. I got the truck I wanted at a fair price. Paul knows the Ford product very well and answered all of my questions promptly. It was what i had be Actually, made contact with sales rep Kelly McWain via telephone for a car I had located at Mac Haik while searching online. It was what i had been looking for and although I live 800 miles from Austin, Tx, I made a deal through Kelly which was too good to pass up. I flew down to Austin and Kelly me me at the airport. After arriving at the dealershop, I met with the gentleman (I'd say a Texas gentleman, and that is a compliment) who handled the paperwork and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes. The car was serviced, clean and had gas when I drove off for home. I am a long time Ford truck owner and when it comes time for a new truck, I'll contact Kelly first as she was a pleasure to deal with, as was the other employees I encountered, even though Mac Haik is some distance away! Kelly McWain was an excellent sales person. My car buying experience has never been that smooth or painless. I told her what I was looking for, and she began the search. She found a car that we thought would experience has never been that smooth or painless. I told her what I was looking for, and she began the search. She found a car that we thought would be good, missing one key feature that I was looking for, and she went through pricing getting it put on after market. When I decided that I just wasn't comfortable with that deal, she said "OK, let's keep looking". I got a call 2 days later saying she had found the perfect car, and I was driving away in said car a day or so later. Not only had she found me the car I was looking for, she found me a car 3 steps above and beyond what I was looking for, for the exact perfect price that I was looking to buy at. I would recommend Mac Haik to anyone for buying a car, and your only choice of sales person is Kelly McWain. More

Customer Service pertains to the need for replacing the front passenger leather seat after 3 weeks of owning the Ford Edge. After waiting about a month for the leather to come into the dealership I called front passenger leather seat after 3 weeks of owning the Ford Edge. After waiting about a month for the leather to come into the dealership I called Brett and he said that the leather had been in the shop for a week or longer and that he had left me a voice message on my cell phone. Upon Brett's suggestion I brought in the car first thing in the morning and after not hearing about the progress all day I called Brett and he told me that the leather was the wrong color so I would have to bring the car back again. Again he said that he had left me a voice message on my cell phone earlier in the day about the mix up. I was told that the new leather would take 3 to 5 days to get to the dealership so then I would be called to bring the car in. About 3 weeks passed so I called Michael Blackburn about the status of the leather and left him a voice message. Later that same day Brett called and said that the leather had just come in so I could bring in the car for replacement. My main concern is that none of the times that Brett said he left me voice messages on my cell phone was there a message on my cell phone or our home phone plus no calls from the dealership were even listed as being missed. I hope my future experiences will be better. My buying experience with Paul Roberge was excellent. Dave Stockwell More
