Online Reservation System Fatally Flawed Service request for oil change and overall check of 2010 Ford F-150 before a upcoming trip to southern Colorado and northern New Mexico with a request Service request for oil change and overall check of 2010 Ford F-150 before a upcoming trip to southern Colorado and northern New Mexico with a request to inspect the 4x4 function submitted online 2 weeks prior to 7 am appointment. Arrived 6:45 am and when service advisers finally showed up at 7:05 am was told I would have to leave the truck if I wanted it checked. Service adviser kept saying she saw the online service request for the first time minutes before. When using online scheduling it is logical that the service request would be examined and if vehicle would have to left advise the customer before their arrival especially when the online service request indicates customer will wait. More

Great Car Buying Experience We visited from out of town because our local dealer did not have what we were looking for and couldn't locate one. We showed up just as the dealershi We visited from out of town because our local dealer did not have what we were looking for and couldn't locate one. We showed up just as the dealership was opening and everyone was still in a meeting. Marty immediately came out, sat down on a computer and located several possible options on the lot, got all the keys and we looked at several vehicles, test driving the one we really liked. At that point, I gave him the keys to our trade in and asked for an appraisal and their best price on the new one. In a timeframe much shorter than I anticipated, he came back with prices that I was pleasantly surprised to hear. I had a trade in price that I hoped to get based on researching KBB online at home and they indeed offered that price. The new vehicle was priced lower than comparable ones we had looked at with other dealers. I said we had a deal and that we already had our own financing, so I would like to get the deal done as quickly as possible. They said that they could try to get a better deal for me with their financing if I would like but my pre-approved APR was good so I declined. They were not pushy about it at all. I appreciated this. I hate high-pressure sales whether it is to "buy today" or to use their loan/add-on products. All in all, it was about 3 hours from the time we walked into the dealership and asked to look at some vehicles to the time we drove away in a new SUV. Folks were friendly, helpful, not pushy and seemed to understand that we DID NOT want to spend all day in a car dealership going through this process. Thanks guys... More
