Great with buyer accommodation and high level of integrity I walked in with my father with the intent on helping him look for a ford transit van, we had been all over town and then some hunting for a good used I walked in with my father with the intent on helping him look for a ford transit van, we had been all over town and then some hunting for a good used one at a reasonable budget price and landed on one here at the direction of a friend of ours who regularly deals with Mak Haik business to business. We found the 2013 Ford Transit in the used sales department with the help of salesman Ted Burgess and the Used manager Scott. Its the only transit I have seen in a grey color so it was very unique. The van was great, small minor issue with the alignment and needing new front brakes. Mak Haik did not bat an eye at adjusting these issues for us. Along the way we also found my father a mint condition low mileage 2010 Mercedes. We had another small alignment issue that Mak Haik fixed. !!DISCLAIMER: (we are picky about how our cars drive)!! And of course, as we are doing the paperwork for these two vehicles i started thinking about my aging BMW 325CI and when it would see it's last days and how I wish I had something bigger for my doggo to ride around with me in. Enter me finding my own new ride, a 2014 Ford Edge Sport. All three vehicles are loaded with all kinds of options and goodies. The van already had utility work lights on it and a backup siren. The Mercedes was loaded. The Ford Edge even came with a weather tech package the original owner probably paid a pretty penny for. Mak Haik got my dad out of his Tahoe and in to TWO vehicles for LESS than the price he was paying for it! They did not end up buying my BMW. The offer was low, $1,000 on the Blue Book $3,500 for trade in down payment but with the work it needed I don't blame them. They couldn't have made money on it. They were nice about it. I ended up selling the BMW for $4,000 due to the after market audio and performance parts that Mak Haik is not allowed to account for in their appraisal. Ted Burgess was a great salesperson to deal with and made the process smooth and hassle free. Scott the Used Sales Manager was also very involved in our process and helped move things along quickly and made sure we were taken care of all the way through the sale and has even followed up t make sure we love our new vehicles, which....WE DEFINITELY DO! Recommended, 10 out of 10. My only complaint is I was not a fan of the finance agent I dealt with. I look young and have purchased many vehicles, but this particular agent was very aggressive with his sales tactics. He tried to insult my credit as a way to get me to buy an extended warranty (I was approved instantly with no proof required...) and was visibly frustrated when I questioned GAP insurance and his appraisal of the vehicle after depreciation. He rushed the process along and somehow forgot to get my signature. Then hounded me for several days for me to come in for the signature as I was dealing with getting my A/C looked at before final pickup of my vehicle. I did not bring this to either Ted or Scott's attention. Since they work in a separate building from the financial advisor, I assume they are different departments and supervisors. Short version: 3 new cars bought and 1 trade in. Salesman Ted Burgess and Used Manager Scott were great. Finance guy was rude and rushy. All requests fulfilled and vehicles in 100% order. Overall experience 9/10, finance guy blew the perfect score. Go see Ted Burgess and Scott in Used sales. Hands down best dudes to deal with. More
