We drove home today so excited and happy to not only own our New 2013 Ford Explorer, but also so thankful to have met and worked with Ted Li to purchase our vehicle. My wife and I decided to buy a new SUV and narrowed down our list to a 2013 Ford Explorer or a Toyota Highlander. We visited Mac Haik Ford and worked with Art Espinoza who was very helpful initially. We found a Ford Explorer at the Mac Haik in Houston that matched our requirements. We were ensured that the car was still on the lot and available for purchase. We went in and spent 4 hours on Friday doing the paperwork and trading in our Toyota Camry. We signed all the paperwork and left thinking that we would go back Monday and pick up our vehicle. The weekend passed and on Monday morning I called the dealership and was told the following. We are sorry to inform you that the vehicle you purchased was accidentally sold. Well, that is bad enough, but then they went on to try and upsell us for a more expensive limited version of the vehicle. We declined. I called the Sales Manager, Charlie, and asked if we could get the same vehicle that we signed the agreement for from another location. His reply was basically, "no", it would be to expensive for them and we would have to absorb the $890 dollar fee. I refused and said that this was their mistake and we wouldn't pay for it. So, basically, we spent many hours of time and aggrevation for nothing by deciding to go with these guys for a vehicle. I would recommend going to Covert Ford in Austin if you want to get better service. I did purchase a 2010 Ford Escape from this dealership in 2009 and they filled out the wrong form that time and we had to go back in several extra times to fix that. I usually don't write reviews but felt this was justified. Needless to say, we are back in the Toyota Camry we traded in and will go to the Toyota dealership and buy the Highlander. More

I bought a 2012 F250 from Darrin at Mac Haik. He met us outside and helped us select a truck. Although he was relatively new, he had a good bit of knowledge. We found the right truck for us and he worked a very good deal. The business office had good terms and we were on our way. Darrin is a good (although new) salesman and we will gladly go back to him again. More

David worked with me to find a Ford Escape that would fit my needs and budget. He was not pushy but very helpful.
