The Internet is an important tool for me and after exploring a number of vehicles online only two automotive manufacturers earned my attention and respect for both content and presentation -- Buick and MINI. Following the national websites to the local dealership website, Otto's MINI of Exton, Pennsylvania, I was thoroughly impressed with the comprehensive quality of their online experience. By far and away, I learned the most helpful and detailed information on the Otto's MINI of Exton website. And very quickly I was able to identify a vehicle that met my needs. With one email to Otto's MINI, I was contacted by Peter Barcus who quickly and efficiently answered my questions in a way that both respected my knowledge and, quite professionally, anticipated certain soft spots in my understanding of the MINI line. He instantly put my wife and I at ease and worked to assist us in a prompt and helpful manner and never with any pressure. He was content to trust us and to trust in the value of the MINI brand and the quality of the people and service at Otto's MINI of Exton. Within two visits, my wife and I bought a spotless 2012 Mini Cooper S Countryman with low mileage, a great warranty, and a very affordable price. One email to Peter and one visit a couple of days later, and once again my wife and I were very happy owners of another 2012 low-mileage, extended warranty MINI. By the way, this all happened on the day before the Christmas Holidays. and Peter and his colleagues at Otto's MINI never made us feel rushed or hurried. Indeed, while I moved through the second purchase with some measure of speed, Peter made sure that everything was fully up to standards. And Dave Busby, too, handled our second set of paperwork with a high attention to detail even while appreciating our new-found familiarity with the process. In the months since our two purchases, Peter has kept in contact with us to ensure that our cars are performing to our satisfaction. And on those occasions when we stop into the dealership for routine maintenance or to admire the newer models, Peter and Dave always remember us and stop to greet us. Fantasic Salesman, Pete! Friendly, Understanding, Listens Buying a car is a difficult and expensive decision. Fast talking salespeople who are only interested in closing a deal and making their commission tu Buying a car is a difficult and expensive decision. Fast talking salespeople who are only interested in closing a deal and making their commission turn me off immediately. THIS IS NOT THE CASE with Pete Barcus or Otto's MINI. They listed to your needs, let you test drive different vehicles until you find the right one, and then work with you on pricing and closing the deal so that both parties are happy. I walked out of a Toyota dealership because the high pressure salesman was only interested in my buying the car that day. I was there for a test drive and making some observations on different types of cars I might consider to buy. I was upfront and honest with the person and his repeated comment to me was "So what will it take for you to buy the car RIGHT NOW?" I left as soon as I could get away from him and returned to Otto's Mini to talk with Peter about a used Audi which I had test driven earlier that day. My mind was made up. I was giving my business to Pete, and I just needed to decide which car and settle on the price. How I was treated played a major factor in my decision. They are my dealership! Highly recommend anyone of the salesperson at Otto's Mini whether you are buying a MINI (which we already did from Pete) or a used car from their inventory. This is how buying a car should be! More
