Amazing Service On a recent trip to Sebring International Raceway for the Phil Wicks Driving Academy another driver from Georgia blew out his clutch. Was sold a Lemon I bought a 2008 Mini cooper with 60k miles in May the car has been in the shop 3 times since I drove it home. On the first trip to the Mini Dealershi I bought a 2008 Mini cooper with 60k miles in May the car has been in the shop 3 times since I drove it home. On the first trip to the Mini Dealership in my home state 2 weeks after the car was purchased, I was told that the car had been treated with engine goo to mask engine problems and that I would most likely need a new engine soon. But they flushed out the engine and got me back on the road. I tried to reach the Wesley Chapel dealership and my phone calls were not returned. Two trips later -and at 5 months of ownership the service department tells me that my engine is dead. The long block has no compression in the cylinders and that now it would cost 9,254 dollar to replace the engine. There is absolutely no way Wesley Chapel Mini did not know this engine was bad. Do not buy from them unless you have money to burn. KPhillips of GA More
