This was an important service call. My daughter had just taken delivery of the car the night before and on the way home discovered a loud rattle. This impacted the excitement of having a new car. Morevoer, she needed to be back at work in Philadelphia this afternoon.If the rattle had not been fixed she would have had to wait a day or days to enjoy the car. It meant a lot to her to have her car back in perfect condition. When I got to the dealer, I was expecting potential hassles because car service departments are usually hassle-filled places. I had to be there early and I had no appointment. Instead I was really surprised--nearly amazed-- at the friendliness, responsiveness and skill of everyone involved. My firm impression is that this a top drawer dealer and service operation. Great job all around. More
I unexpectedly had problem with icon lit on dashboard (tire too low) and stopped by Prestige Mini, concerned because I have run-flats for first time. Service was somewhat slow and did not always find the problem the first time. I found my service representative difficult to reach when I wanted an update on when my car would be ready and if any loaners problem the first time. Spiro is a top rate salesman. The extras this dealership provides such as free car wash for life is certainly a plus. It felt like we were part of a big family. As an added bonus, the Mini Prestige dealership hold Mini parties. My wife and I couldn't believe how many Mini's attend these functions. It's a fun car to have and a fun dealership to belong to. I had a great experience at this dealership. The serviceman was very easy to deal with not only because of his friendliness but his willingness to deal with my recently outdated warrantee. Our Mini was involved in an accident and we brought it to Prestige (where we purchased it) to have it fixed. One excuse after another and a three week promise to fix it has turned into 6 weeks and countin Prestige (where we purchased it) to have it fixed. One excuse after another and a three week promise to fix it has turned into 6 weeks and counting. They installed the wrong radiator, they carelessly burned through the rear bumper when painting it (by using the wrong paint apparently) each mistake of which they admitted as their fault, has delayed the completion of the job. This was an insurance claim and until we get the final supplemental check Prestige Mini will not give us our car. We have now made our second car payment for a vehicle we don't have, compliments of Prestige Mini. Oh, did I mention that they would not give us a loaner because the job was going to take too long?! Prestige is an awful dealership, we are amazed that they can claim they are the best in NJ. Mini Corporate should really re-evaluate their system if this claim is true. We are so disgusted with this experience we are thinking of just selling our (brand new by the way) Mini and going with a different car. At the very least we are taking our business to Morristown Mini and hoping to have a better experience. - Jeremy & Jess More
