Quick and pleasant I stopped into the service center because of an issue with the chrome around my headlight. I always rave about how seamless it is to bring my car in. This time I came in for a damaged windshield (cracked)instead of going to an off brand for replacement. Ryan was very informative. He told me exactly what it would cost and how to submit it to my insurance company. When I picked up my car and saw that Mini charges $750 for labor on a $1,118.75 service, I was dumbfounded. And then to get in my car and see four full-sized handprints on , i thought to myself, $750 doesn't get me a few mists of windex and a wipe or two on the new windshield?!? I agreed to the windshield replacement but I had no idea that two-thirds of the cost was labor. I should've asked. But the handprints... More
