Great service. Everyone was very Friendly. My only complaint would be communication. They didn’t call me enough to let me know it was done. They got me a loaner car that was at 2021 mini. They worked with my schedule because I couldn’t get there in time and had a sales person waiting there with my car. More

Seems good, felt like they may have been a teeny bit patronizing but no complaints. I love how they wash the car after service, it’s a nice perk! patronizing but no complaints. I love how they wash the car after service, it’s a nice perk! More
Oh boy where to begin. Initially I had good experiences with MINI of Portland. That all changed. I've had several instances in which MINI of Portland failed to deliver. It seems the quality of the servi with MINI of Portland. That all changed. I've had several instances in which MINI of Portland failed to deliver. It seems the quality of the service department has plummeted. I will begin with the sales department: Last December I bought a 2016 MINI Cooper Clubman--used and what appeared to be good shape--I purchased a warranty product with the terms changed by MINI of Portland which led me to cancel the purchased warranty and, after many emails and phone calls, the money I paid for the warranty was refunded. The 2016 MINI Clubman then had an "undercarriage" part that needed to be replaced and not covered by warranty--I was told it was "wear and tear" despite the car being driven at most 500 miles in a year and supposedly having an inspection prior to the vehicle being sold. I also have a 2013 MINI cooper base model that has only been serviced by MINI dealerships--both in San Francisco and then here in Portland. The latest issue with the 2013 MINI was late last month when the car was having throttle issues and wasn't driving well. I brought the car in to MINI of Portland and provided an in-depth analysis of what I thought was wrong with the vehicle as well as what I was experiencing when driving. I was told the "software" needed to be updated in addition to some belt that needed to be replaced. I promptly had all the necessary repairs completed and was told the throttle issue was due to a "floor-mat" being too close to the gas pedal--I'm being completely serious and have the video of the technician making the comment. I didn't believe this explanation to be true but took the technicians word for what he thought was causing the throttle issues and jerky movements when driving. Fast forward to LAST NIGHT--yes LESS than a MONTH--after being in the hands of MINI of Portland and the car suddenly has several jerking movements when shifting in higher gear/accelerating, loses power and the reduced power light comes on. I barely make it home driving 30 miles per hour and thinking the engine is going to completely die. I promptly call and leave a message at MINI of Portland, text them, and then e-mail Ingrid the service center manager. No return of communication until 1730 today. I elected to take the car to another mechanic and discover a slew of maintenance issues that were not addressed by MINI of Portland during the many visits. First, the coils and spark plugs needed repaired which explained the jerky movements and poor driving performance of the vehicle. Second, the oil was low and "dirty" despite consistent scheduled maintenance at MINI of Portland. Third, the transmission fluid needed replaced and a whole host of other maintenance issues. When I discovered how much MINI of Portland had dropped the ball I was fuming and completely pissed. I sent feedback to the service department manager--Ingrid-- and she was like "good luck" and "Happy Holidays." I plan to discuss my issues with MINI corporate headquarters as well as Lithia and whoever will listen. I also won't be returning as a customer to MINI of Portland--either to purchase a car or have one serviced as MINI of Portland has failed in both departments. Please be careful and take caution when dealing with this business. More
