Bought a JCW roadster and within 3 days the transmission light was on. Brought it back and was told they’d fix it at no charge, so far so good. This is my 3rd mini. They gave me a loaner free. That earns th light was on. Brought it back and was told they’d fix it at no charge, so far so good. This is my 3rd mini. They gave me a loaner free. That earns them a star however, the report I got back states they found out my car with only 13K miles on the odometer has a junkyard transmission. They redid the wiring harness & changed the transmission fluid. Drove it 10 miles & gave it back. Their finance guy can’t be bothered to contact me with any of the paperwork I signed. Contacting the dealer by phone got me nowhere. I had to drive back up there to get the first copy of the financials, still haven’t received the second. I’ll take it to my BMW mechanic, who will talk to me & will reveal all the other issues this almost new JCW has. Brakes for sure, not just new pads but a brake bleed. These guys assume cars are a mystery to everyone, thankfully I know mechanics who can do the work & in less than 40 days, that’s how long mini Gaithersberg had my car. More
