i am in awe of my new mini and the whole mini experience I reluctantly looked into the mini for my new car. I was giving up my big SUV, because my kids were finally driving themselves around. I knew a few people in the neighborhood who drove minis and they all seemed so happy. We arrived on a Saturday and the place was busy with all these prospective buyers. We had 30 minutes before we had to leave and take my daughter somewhere. I was impatient and reluctant to be there. I was ready to walk away. Then we met Carol. She was friendly, calm and eager to help us. She had no agenda except to be there for our needs, whatever they may be. I felt in control and able to process what I really wanted in a new car. Did I want a totally impractical convertible? Did I want a larger, safer 4 wheel drive? Was all the cupcake dressings of the mini something I wanted? and if yes, what accessories did I want? Carol patiently walked me through all the options, which were overwhelming to me. I never felt she steered me in any particular direction. As a result, together we found a mini that was perfect for me. I get to leave my identity as a taxi driver behind me and start a new, exciting journey with my mini. From the very moment I drove that car off the lot, I knew my new mini and I would have the best time together. I am sold on the whole mini experience!!! More

Honest Dealership -would reccomend in a second I was in the market for a Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Was passing by the dealership and saw that they had a pre owned on the lot. A matter a fact I was heading to an appointment and they told me to take the car and return it later in the day. I unfortunately did not buy the car as my wife was set on a different model that they did not have in stock. I had put a deposit down on the car and without any hesitation it was refunded to me without any hassle or games. This is an honest dealership who pride themselves on customer satisfaction! Car Needs A New Transmission I have purchased three minis from this dealership, and one of them was featured in their commercial with me and my daughter. Up until now, I have bee I have purchased three minis from this dealership, and one of them was featured in their commercial with me and my daughter. Up until now, I have been very happy with this dealership.... So What Went Wrong! My wife's 2005 mini has 72,500 miles on the odometer and it now needs a new transmission at a cost of over $10,000. I spoke to Joe, the general sales manager, and he reminded me that it was a 10 year old car. I am not sure what the age of the car has to do with it. In my mind, it's all about mileage! I recently traded in my Honda Pilot that had been driven 217,000 miles with no major problems during the 12 years I owned it. Again, it's not about age, it's about mileage. Joe offered me $1,000 for the mini as a trade in. I took the car to Honda of Westport and told them that the car needs a new transmission. They drove it and came back and offered me a trade in price of $2,000. Surprising… considering it’s not a Honda. Bottom line, I think Mini could have done more to keep a three time customer happy rather than blaming the car’s age for a faulty transmission that cost substantially more to fix than the car’s value! Always Wanting to Help I have been having my Mini's (on my third now) serviced at Mini of Fairfield since 2009 and am extremely happy with the service department. Since I wo I have been having my Mini's (on my third now) serviced at Mini of Fairfield since 2009 and am extremely happy with the service department. Since I would describe myself as being "very fussy" with my cars, Mini of Fairfield's service department has never disappointed. Steve Parrett (service manager), John Corcoran (service advisor) and Peter Reed (service advisor) have always exceeded my very high expectations. During my most recent visit to the service department, Steve facilitated a warranty replacement of a small exterior part that had a blemish on it. Steve thanks so much for making that happen quickly and Peter I appreciate you taking care of everything the day of the replacement (I too appreciate you keeping me fully informed of the status of the work). John thanks again for always being there since my first Mini (you need to call me "Rob"!!!!!!) :) Although I am writing this review about my most recent service experience, I want to too thank Antonio Silva (salesperson) who has worked very hard (tirelessly) over the years to put me in exactly the Mini that I wished for. I would highly recommend seeing Antonio - a truly nice guy. More
