Hello Mikes Motors, we have diagnosed multiple concerns on the vehicle in question including replacing the incorrect spark plugs for a misfire, we had recommended that the coils and plugs were all replaced with the correct parts to start, this is a 90,000+ vehicle which also have issues with Carbon buildup on the valves, timing chain slack and in this case likely a defective blow off valve. Liz waited for your approval over several days. You had chosen to do the repairs outside of the dealership and didn't repair what we recommended to start with. Our apologies but when it comes to high mileage vehicles that hadn't been maintained properly you have to start with the most obvious issues and retest working through the all of the problems one by one and we weren't given the opportunity to repair anything past the charge air hose that was leaking.

Hello Mrs. Salvatore, our apologies for this unfortunate incident. There wasn't a situation where we were in disbelief of your concern, at times when it comes to a possible coolant leak it becomes difficult to be certain of a leak and where the leak is coming from. Your vehicle was leaking on top of the transmission so this was difficult to spot at first until is sat under pressure. We do not want to sell our customers any unnecessary repairs. As far as I am aware anyone traveling behind another vehicle is responsible for maintaining a safe distance behind the vehicle in front of them. I myself have been driving manual transmission vehicles on and off for more than thirty years and on occasion I have stalled coming off of a traffic light or sign and in traffic situations , even so I wouldn't expect to be hit in the rear by another driver. We have made quality repairs to your rear bumper and even reduced what you owed for the thermostat repair to half. Again my apologies for the accident and best of luck.
