MINI of Fairfield County

The work, when completed was excellent. However, phone calls were not always returned in a timely fashion. The car was dropped off on a Monday, and was finally ready at Noon on the Friday. During the inspection, three major problems were discovered, but I was told could wait until the Spring to be resolved. I don't think a worn drive belt , a leaking axle seal, and a valve cover gasket would have waited 'til the Spring. Sadly,I will not be returning to Mini of Fairfield. More

My battery light came on so I called the dealer and the soonest they could get me in was 6 days later, I said okay I’ll bring it then. I then continued to drive my car because the dealership did not advise soonest they could get me in was 6 days later, I said okay I’ll bring it then. I then continued to drive my car because the dealership did not advise me not to and they knew I was driving it to my appointment. While driving my car on the Merrit parkway it completely died and I lost all control of the vehicle. I wish the advisor I spoke to when I scheduled the appt told me not to drive it. I then get it towed to the dealership but already had my appointment scheduled for the following Monday at 7:30am. At 4pm Monday I called for an update and they said it had not been looked at yet, which did not make any sense as I had an appt and the advisor proceeded to tell me they make many appointments but then try to squeeze them in (unsure how that is acceptable). Finally my car was evaluated and Tuesday evening (unacceptable). I have had a mini for years and have never had a positive experience here and it’s truly awful customer service. More
