We live in Manhattan and go all the way to Fairfield for this Mini service center. They answer the phone, which for us is important. Do the work in a timely fashion, and don’t over charge. This was the worst experience I have ever had getting service. I had service in November, and was told they needed to order a part to repair the rear bumper lamp assembly. They never contacted me that service. I had service in November, and was told they needed to order a part to repair the rear bumper lamp assembly. They never contacted me that the part had arrived, and I finally had to call them to find out if they had the part, and then to schedule service. I was told I couldn't wait for my car, and that they would provide me with a loaner. They quoted me a price of around 200 dollars for an oil change and instllation of the part. At 4:30 that evening, they contacted me, and told me that the socket, (the one I had purchased the part for) was burnt, (which was why it was ordered in November) and that it would cost me an additional $200 to repair it. I told them that was the part that I had already paid for. They then said that they were sorry for the confusion, and that they would order the socket, at no additional cost. I contacted them the next morning, and told them I need the car back as soon as possible, but they could not give me a specific time, so I decided to drive down (40 minute drive) and wait for my car. When I arrived, the service manager? told me that they were working on it, the the technician was wiring up the plug for the assembly. Obviously he was lying, because I know these plug assemblies are prewired. When they finally finished, the charged me $328 for the repairs, well over the original quote, As a result of this, I will never go have service done at a Mini dealer, in fact, I will never buy a Mini again. I will also tell all my friends to never buy a mini. More
