We recently purchased a Mini Cooper from Mini of Concord and consider ourselves lucky to have been served by Donna Osowski. I appreciate that she allowed me to answer all of my questions about the many different features available by letting me test drive several cars, new and used. She never made us feel pressured, rushed or obligated in any way. Being a great listener gave her the tools to help us find the right car within the financial perameters that suited us. We bought our MINI from MINI of Concord and have had consistently poor service while the car has been under warranty. We took the car in (for the second time) after because there were issues with the c consistently poor service while the car has been under warranty. We took the car in (for the second time) after because there were issues with the car starting properly, with a poorly heating seat, and with the cruise control. They fixed the heated seat, which was nice. They said that the problem with the cruise control simply shutting off periodically could not be replicated and there were no fault codes. Their advice was the monitor the situation and let them know more details. That is exactly what they said the first time for the same problem. I provide the details - level ground, constant speed on the freeway. It has been getting worse, but it won't necessary fail within 5 mi of their dealership. Their mantra is that without a fault code, they cant' fix it. They claimed that if it had failed for their mechanic, then they could then fix it. So that means they either think I'm incompetent or dishonest. The engine problem is less straight forward, but it is often hard to start the car in the morning, or the engine will shut off after a few seconds. Also, the clutch needs to be jammed into the floor pretty hard. They once again said that without a fault code, they could not fix it, even the clutch issue. Are these guys mechanics or software engineers? Of course, it took three tries to start the car the day after I brought it home. It was 9 am and 47 degrees, not exactly challenging conditions. I would steer clear of MINI of Concord. Their MINI service representative, Jessica, is nearly impossible to reach and rarely, if ever, returns a call. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
