Got an internet quote from Edmunds.com, spoke with their internet salesperson, Patti. Given a great quote, I asked specifically what all charges/fees applied. Was told she tried to email me numbers but her email must not have worked. Told her I would take the car at that price and would be in next day. On arrival,the VP was assigned to us. Then he tried to re-nig on the internet quote by saying their were various fees that "everyone had to charge" and that even though I was told repeatedly that the quote I had was all-inclusive, he HAD to charge me these various fees. I told him I was disappointed he wouldnt honor the quote they had given me and that I felt mislead. I said the deal was off. As I walked out of his office he was yelling at me and my 16 yr. old daughter that "we didnt get it, he had to charge these fees and where did I think I could go and not pay them??" I replied, just as firmly, and within earshot of other showroom customers, that since he wouldnt honor the quote he gave me and that i felt mislead that I would go work with a dealer who I felt I could trust. He let me get to my car, then started yelling at me from the balcony of the showroom. I stuck to the number I was quoted and said I wouldnt pay a dollar more than the quote. He gave me grief, carried on, disappeared inside the building twice. Finally he came out to the balcony, called my name and made a "come here" arm gesture as he walked back into the showroom. Hmmmm, I think maybe we have a deal?? Yes, in fact, we did. But even though I was polite and straightforward to him, his demeanor changed dramatically. He was angry and barely civil. What a jerk. The kind of guy that gives all car salespeople a bad name. The finance manager, John, however, was very polite and businesslike. As he is the VP, I would never use M'Lady for service. I had been warned about M'Lady from another dealer who warned me about them and their tactics. More

Being a single woman buying a car your hardly ever take seriously in a dealership,but Ed came right up to me asked if i needed help and i told him what i wanted.To my surprise they had the exact car on the seriously in a dealership,but Ed came right up to me asked if i needed help and i told him what i wanted.To my surprise they had the exact car on the lot i wanted,right down to the color.After a test drive,a little haggaling on the price a visit with Betty and signing a lot of papers I walked out with keys in hand and a happy customer.Buying a car is never really a fast process,but the people involved are very organized and professional and know their jobs,which made thing much better.So far so good with the Xterra.The real test will be on the kenndy today when i go back to work.The truck is easy to drive and rides well with good pick up.My boyfriend(a mechanic)likes several features about this truck motor,drive train,etc.And felt i bought a quality vehicle. I went to the dealership to look for a used vehicle and thats what Scott showed me. I looked at a lot of them and test drove 3 used and then decided to look at a new car. I was able to come to the Crystal Lake Mlady Nissan Dealership on my lunch break and test drive the three particular cars I was interested in and still make it back to work on time. Sebastian was extremely helpful in pinpointing the cars that would be of most interest to me and answering the questions I had about each of them. He did not push the sale but instead allowed me to determine what I was comfortable driving and crunched the numbers for me from there. I would recommend this dealership. More
