Dropping the ball About 6 weeks ago we bought a 2017 Golf Sportwagen. We love the car and got a reasonable deal BUT the customer service has been a disappointment. They `forgot to put a temporary license in the rear window eventhough they had the car `ready' for several days. We didn't realize it until we got home (our bad) and called the dealer. `Ooops. Sorry'. Isn't that a checklist item when selling the car? They did have a nice staff person drive to our home with the paper. Weeks went by and no actual license. A week ago they called and said they need something more from us to complete the title. They claimed they had been trying to reach us. If they had, no one left a message. We drove down, gave them what they need and asked that the plates be mailed to us. They estimated we would have them Wednesday. Today they called and asked that we come down again and pick up the plates. We were supposed to have had the plates by now. If you deal with this firm, you will find a decent selection of autos, nice sales staff but you would be well advised to make your own checklist before you take possession to avoid the annoyance of have to return to finalize the transaction. This is the second auto we have purchased them Burnsville. The first transaction was flawless. This one - well not so much. More
