A very good experience being a car from a long distance away We were looking for a specific used car and could not find it in our home market. Searching on the internet, 2 of these cars showed up in the Twin City area, 350 miles away from home. Both cars were listed at Luther Burnsville. Our son lives in the Twin Cities and I called him. He was able to look at the cars and got in touch with Luke and soon after we were on the phone with him. We started to concentrate on one of the two cars Luke answered all questions in a very nice manner along with our son's positive comments that we felt confident enough to commit buying this car on the spot. 2 days later, my wife and myself drove to Burnsville and bought it and had an excellent drive home. Since I had NO APPOINTMENT, I was expecting to wait until a sales rep became available, but I was IMMEDIATELY escorted to Madi, who was managing another customer at the time, yet somehow found a way to accommodate me with "red carpet" and got me quickly into a test drive. I tested both a CC and a GLI and decided to go with the CC. By the time I finished my test drives, Madi had ran some preliminary numbers, which gave me clarity and confidence for my decision. She was professional, personal, honorable and did not pressure me in any way. Everything you'd hope for in a dealership. Additionally, Eddy in finance was fast, yet thorough, with the paperwork. On a side note, one of the things I was hoping for in my visit was passion for the VW product. Madi and the staff did not disappoint! In fact there was a moment where I felt like a family member when all were free to speak about their own VWs that they have grown to love. A very special addition to my experience! I KNOW I SHOULDN'T SAY THIS, because I wouldn't want to create false expectations for future customers, but I excitedly drove my purchased car home, telling them I'd come back for my older vehicle, which is a headache. HOWEVER, the next day Madi offered to send drivers to deliver my old car directly to my house FREE OF CHARGE! What a nice way to really make me feel like a VIP! I must give a shout out to George and Mil for doing that. Finally, I must add that Madi called me a few days later, just to check in and see how things were going, which was a FINE TOUCH. I asked if they treat everyone like this and she said "yes." Burnsville VW and Madi are the quintessential template of what every auto dealer should be. Once you experience this level of VIP treatment, you won't go ANYWHERE ELSE! More
