My car buying experience at Burnsville Volkswagen exceeded my expectations on every level. First off, my sales rep, Linda Radue, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable with all the different Volks exceeded my expectations on every level. First off, my sales rep, Linda Radue, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable with all the different Volkswagen products that I was considering. She was able to show me different models, come up with various pricing options, and did all that in a super efficient manner that you usually don't get when buying a new car. When I came to pick up the car she had it all ready for me at the front of the dealership! She took extra time explaining all the new features and gadgets and even set up my Bluetooth to sync up with my iPhone before I took off in the car. Linda really cares about her customers and goes out of her way to ensure they have a great buying experience at Burnsville Volkswagen. My wife and I were shopping new cars to replace her 10 year old Chrysler. The Passat TDI met all our "need to haves" and nearly all our "like to haves." After reviewing the vehicle on the web, including professional and owner reviews, we went to the dealership where we were lucky enough to be teamed up with Linda Radue. My wife and I were super impressed with how laid back she was. No pressure at all, while answering all our questions about the vehicles we were considering. It was clear she new the product. I would expect that. Her mannerisms and her obvious interest in our needs impressed us. One of the first things she did was take us around to the service entrance and show us the service area, explaining the service process, and showing pride in a well lit, clean service department. After a test drive, which she left us alone to enjoy, we joked about the VW test drive themed tv commercials. We were hooked, and we requested a model that she ended up getting from Wisconsin for us in a day. Pricing was fixed, and reasonable, financing was quick and easy (0%/60 months) and Linda spent some quality time reviewing with us the operation of a very technologically sophisticated vehicle. the experience went the way it always should, but frequently doesn't. She followed up with a next day phone call to see how it was going with the new car, and she set up a complimentary 30 day follow-up appointment with the service department to review vehicle features, operation, any problems, etc. Thanks Linda for a great buying experience. The sales person was very nice and patient with all my questions and set me up with a time to come in and test drive a couple of the cars. When I got to the dealership (a little late), 3 or 4 employees greeted me very kindly and Grant showed me the cars I was interested in. I test drove a beautiful silver Passat, with 280 HP, first and was in love! Grant and Jacquie did everything as far as the paperwork goes, and really - all I had to do was, literally, sign and drive. The guys at the dealership readied the car for me too. The tank was filled, the floormats were put in place, Grant even programmed my home address into the navigation system. It was a great experience for being such a major purchase and big decision for me to make. Thank you Luther Burnsville Volkswagen! More

I purchased my vehicle last year, a 2012 Passat. The sales person was great. I had the scheduled maintenance and two warranty visits for DRLs that stopped working and a back speaker that kept blowing. T sales person was great. I had the scheduled maintenance and two warranty visits for DRLs that stopped working and a back speaker that kept blowing. They were always on the ball and did a great job. My only complaint was that it took me months to get my owners manual. I just recently had a front end impact on the vehicle. They showed me how it caused the pulley to burn into the wheel liner and wiper fluid reservoir a bit-just a bit. This caused my serpentine belt, which should be tight and secure between the grooves on the pulley, to jump off and shred through at least two ribs. I'm not disputing that the pulley hit the wheel liner, although I think that is a bit ridiculous for a minor impact; after all, they showed me where the marks were. My dispute was with the fact that the belt jumped the pulley. That shouldn't happen. They couldn't explain to me why it happened, just that it did. The funny thing is, the wheel liner was back where it should be, and no one fixed that, so how, if it were a very short, glancing contact situation that caused a less than one inch scrape mark, did the belt get shredded so badly? The laws of physics don't fit here. The belt should not have jumped the pulley in the first place, and it should certainly have not been so shredded that half of it was nearly gone if the liner flexed back into place immediately as they are alleging. They offered no resolution because that $200 would come out of their pocket. They didn't even try to submit as a warranty repair to VW, partially, I believe, because they don't get paid all the mark up and labor. It's not a dollar for dollar reimbursement. Shannon said he would like to keep me as a customer and would hate to see me go. When he called me to meet with him, he said he was sure we could resolve the issue. If by resolving the issue he meant telling me to go pound sand and that everyone else was wrong and they were right, then I guess it's resolved. I got nothing, no resolution whatsoever. I'm very disappointed because I wanted to keep taking my car there, but when I don't feel something is right, I just can't go along with it. I guess it's no skin off their backs to lose me as a customer, and it's fine with me. I got better and faster service at another shop, one which told me that Burnsville VW was full of it and feeding me a line of garbage. * I see that Burnsville VW is going with the same story as their response will show. The critical issue is being ignored, which is a belt should not come off of a pulley due to a minor collision. The same old song and dance about reporting this matter to my insurance company is not flying. I'm not asking for a new bumper or fender. I'm asking for a belt that should have stayed on to be replaced. I also found out through the dealer that these belts come off when people drive on snowy roads. In my opinion, that is a sad statement about the quality of the parts being used. A serpentine belt should not come off from bumpy roads, minor collisions or anything of the sort, but Burnsville VW feels differently. I'm disappointed in their response, or lack thereof, especially because my first few visits with them were great. My business will be taken to a company that listens to me, not spews the same old dreck every time I ask for a direct response to my direct question. More

I am very pleased with the customer service I received before, during and after my visit to the Burnsville Volkswagen Dealership. He then called me and we spoke over the phone regarding my leasing needs and invited me to visit the dealership at my convenience. I scheduled an appointment to meet with Jared that afternoon. I was professionally greeted by the receptionist and then met with Jared and Trivia, a Sales Associate in training. They both provided professional and friendly service. After my test drive I determined what options were important to me and was matched with a beautiful Jetta SE. The financing process with Jeff Kloetzke was very smooth and he thoroughly explained the lease terms and answered all of my questions. In addition, I was impressed by the décor and cleanliness of the facility. I just purchased my 4th Volkswagen from Luther's Burnsville VW. This one was a used Jetta for my 16-year old.
