I have to say that being a single woman and purchasing a car can be very intimidating. But, Steve Kahn made me feel so comfortable and I couldn't be happier with my new Jetta. I feel that I got everything car can be very intimidating. But, Steve Kahn made me feel so comfortable and I couldn't be happier with my new Jetta. I feel that I got everything that I wanted and the sale went very smooth. I was so happy for the amount that the dealership gave me on my old car was great. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone. Thank you all, who were a part of the sale of my new Jetta, for making this experience great!! More
When we began looking for a VW van, Linda supplied us all the written material we needed regarding models, prices, and availability. Then she made available the vans we chose to test drive. On the day we c the written material we needed regarding models, prices, and availability. Then she made available the vans we chose to test drive. On the day we came in to work a deal, Linda assisted us by showing a very fair and understandable deal with no surprises. She explained everything about the deal and when we picked up the van she explained everything and gave us an orientation of the van. Linda excels in service. More
I saw the vehicle I wanted - a 2012 Routan with REALLY low miles (so low it's basically new rather than used) on their website and called to see if they still had it. Mark checked & said he'd have it read low miles (so low it's basically new rather than used) on their website and called to see if they still had it. Mark checked & said he'd have it ready and warmed up to do a test drive when I got there. It was PERFECT!! So he got me started with the financing and I drove away with a new vehicle 2 hrs later!! Mark even took the time to show me how to work some of the features in the van and connect my phone up to the Bluetooth. Great experience and superb customer service! More
We bought our car with around 40,000 miles on it and the dealership warranty expired at 74,000 miles. We noticed very high oil consumption and on one oil change there was ZERO oil in the car. We brought i dealership warranty expired at 74,000 miles. We noticed very high oil consumption and on one oil change there was ZERO oil in the car. We brought it in twice under warranty, but were told that adding a quart of oil every 1000 miles was "normal". If you have owned a car in the 21st century you know that is untrue. We repeatedly expressed our concern that there was something bigger going on and we wanted it fixed while we were still covered under the warranty. Reluctantly, we left the Burnsville dealership when we were told that was not the case. We were called a few months later and asked if we wanted to sell the car back to Burnsville Volkswagon because they were in need of more 2008 Passat's. We were beyond tired of adding oil 3-4 times on our own in between oil changes so we went. We were offered $8000 for a trade-in on our car. Only $3000 less than what we still owed on it. Sadly we had to pass on the offer. Fast forward to 76,000 miles (2000 above our warranty) when we brought the car to another place to get the oil changed and we were told there was oil leaking to nearly every part of the car. We were told by that company that this is a common problem with the 2.0 Turbo and that there was no way this could not have been detected 4-5000 miles ago. We quickly reached our to Burnsville Volkswagon and asked the friendly team we had worked with many times before if this something we could have covered. We were told this was out of their hands and we would have to take it up with customer service. Rather than doing us any favors they sent their report to Volkswagon claiming they did not believe this occurred under warranty. Fortunately, customer service believed us and asked us to send in proof that we had been there twice under warranty. They asked us to scan and email the documents to them. 2 weeks ago (a few months after we sent the email) I received a response telling me to bring the car back in to have them make the official diagnosis. We brought the car in today and left it for Burnsville to Diagnose the problem on behalf of Volkswagon. They called us at the end of the day to let us know there were 3 different places where oil was leaking and the repairs would range between $700-$800. Keep in mind the oil is not decreasing any faster now than it was when we originally brought it in. Three separate leaks that occurred in the last 10,000 miles should increase that rate. We said we didn't want to fix it and we would like to look at a trade in value. They told us they would take it for $5000. Let me get this straight. 10,000 more miles and a $700-$800 repair brings the value of the car down $3000 in a 6 month period. I checked their lot and they are selling two similar cars between $10,000-$12,000. I would like to know how this is not viewed as a total scam. We buy a car for $17,000 that we could have bought for $12-14,000 from a private party because we wanted to have the assurance from a dealership. We find a major problem while we are under warranty about a year after owning the car and are told there is nothing wrong with it. As we near the warranty they offer to buy it from us for less that it is worth. We clear the warranty and all of the sudden there is a "brand new problem" they didn't see before that is causing the oil to disappear. When we approach them with the problem they offer to buy it for even less (less than half of it's value and what they are selling it for themselves.) My wife and I plan to contact customer service and give them an opportunity to right this wrong. If they choose not to we will fix this car through a private party and drive it until it dies. During that time we will alert every social media outlet the two of us are involved in of the problems at Luther Volkswagon in Burnsville. We will also use our car as a billboard to alert people that Volkswagon does not honor their warranties. More
I owned my first VW in 1978. We bought our first VW from Luther Burnsville Volkswagen in 2001. We just bought our newest VW from them yesterday. Their newest location is comfortable and inviting. I was Luther Burnsville Volkswagen in 2001. We just bought our newest VW from them yesterday. Their newest location is comfortable and inviting. I was greeted and welcomed but not "hounded or hunted". It was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I worked with Linda Radue. She's warm, genuine, and knowledgable. I emailed in advance, subsequently received a call from Linda and set up an appointment for a test drive. When I arrived the car was out front awaiting me. I took the test drive and talked over initial impressions of the car and received comprehensive, understandable pricing information. I then took the test car home to show the wife, leaving my trade in for evaluation with LInda. When we returned the test vehicle to Luther, we sat with Linda and went over details, colors, packages, etc. She gave us a very fair trade in offer. Linda was very helpful, knew her facts in detail and patiently answered our questions. There was never any pressure, just help available. to help us in a decision. We returned the next day and finalized the purchase including the financing. From the time we agreed to terms to driving the vehicle home took one hour. It was enjoyable, not painful. Again, the best car buying experience we've ever had. Thanks Linda! More

From start to finish we were treated exceptionally. I had no desire to purchase a car, but left with a wonderful auto and felt great about it. I have worked with Sandy in service for over five years so she set a pretty high rating to follow. When I contacted Sandy for a new vehicle, she referred me to Linda Radue. From the start, Linda was knowle so she set a pretty high rating to follow. When I contacted Sandy for a new vehicle, she referred me to Linda Radue. From the start, Linda was knowledgable about the vehicle I was looking for. I hadn't purchased a new vehicle in many years and was not sure if I should remain with a VW or move on to another company. I shared this with Linda, and told her I was going to check out another dealer and would touch base with her later. I was gone for less than 40 minutes. The dealer "up the road" didn't feel like home. I felt cornered from the second I walked in. Pushy sales people were certainly not what I was used to, and quite frankly I wanted no part of. Cosmetically, the other dealer was lacking the posh and tidy look and feel I got from Burnsville VW. From this point, I knew I didn't need to look any further than where I had already been. Burnsville Volkswagen had been my home for service for many years, and when you have a good relationship like that I knew I shouldn't let them go. Thank you to all who helped make this purchase go smoothly! I would refer anyone who's looking for a vehicle to Burnsville VW! Sincerely, Cara Valdez More
