I have been looking into getting an SUV for a few years now, and I found a few online that I liked. I read some reviews on Lumberton Kia, to see who I would need to talk to, and Hector had the most positiv now, and I found a few online that I liked. He definitely lived up to the reviews, as he is very understanding and friendly. His assistant, David, was also very helpful and patient. The finance officers were also very patient and knowledgeable. When I tell you I was probably annoying, that is an understatement. I had them working and reworking numbers, yet they did it with so much courtesy and flexibility. They completely listened to what I was looking for, what I could afford and my unique situation. Needless to say, they have one happy customer. I ended up with an SUV that was loaded with technology and was a perfect fit for my growing kids and pets. The location is obviously convenient, and the showcase room/interior was very clean and welcoming. More
I guess this site lets dealers pay to get rid of bad reviews. Just in case it saves someone else, here is my experience: My wife was there to buy her first ever new car all on her own (my presence was reviews. Once the test drive was done, integrity was out the window. The vehicle didn't have a sticker in the window, so of course, she asked the price. She was told "The price depends on the value of your trade." Strike one. Off to this bad start, I couldn't help but jump in: "No, that's not how that works. If she goes into Macy's to buy a shirt, the price isn't dependent on the shirt she wore into the store." He back-pedaled saying that he meant the total would include the trade value. Later, he would tell her: "The price is dependent on your credit." Strike Two. Once again, my anger is immediately evident. "NO. When she goes to Walmart to buy a blender, the price is the same whether she has a 400 credit score or an 800." He flashes a page from the printer indicating that the car costs $23K, then proceeds to ask her what the monthly payment should be, indicating that with nothing down, she should pay about $450 a month. Strike three. I interrupt to show her that the car is $16K on their website. "Oh well, that's only if you finance through Kia whatever and other stuff in the disclaimer." Fair enough, but she has already prequalified through that lender, so a moot point. But lets get back to that payment. $450 a month for 72 months is $32K. $32K for a car that is on sale for $16K. Not a chance. Had she agreed to that BS, the finance guy would have gotten that to $500 a month. He could have sold a car, made a modest profit and a happy customer who would have brought in family members to buy 3 more cars over the summer. Instead, he tried to rip off one woman, lost her business, lost her family's business and angered someone enough to write this review. Most upset customers grumble and walk away. When someone writes a bad review, you've wronged them enough to get the to spend the energy to let others know. Take that into consideration when reading all of the low scoring reviews. Oh, and their bathrooms were gross. More

I went in to the dealership to purchase a car for my son. Had the pleasure of having Hector as a sales person. He went over and beyond to help put my son in a car.
