Had my transmission replaced on my Jeep Patriot under warranty. within the week with very little driving the transmission stopped shifting Took it back Was told this issue is not under warranty and wo warranty. within the week with very little driving the transmission stopped shifting Took it back Was told this issue is not under warranty and would have to pay over $1000 to replace a trans mission control unit shifting gears is a function of the transmission regardless of a module external to the transmission itself This repair should be part of the transmission warranty I refuse to pay and will be forced to drive the vehicle in low gear Very dissatisfied with the service and Jeep brand for this. Dealership told my daughter she needed to replace an air cabin filter for a cost of $239. Wasn’t needed and the part is around $20.
