I purchased a new 2025 Kia carnival from Carriage Kia of Woodstock on July 10, 2024. I encountered that the Vehicle was not starting on July 23 and requested roadside assistance to jump. They could not kee Woodstock on July 10, 2024. I encountered that the Vehicle was not starting on July 23 and requested roadside assistance to jump. They could not keep the vehicle on after jumping, so they had to tow it to Lou Sobh Kia. The vehicle was driven 495 miles at this time. After 2 days Lou Sobh's service manager got back with an estimate of $8028.46 They said someone reverse-jumped the vehicle and burnt the alternator, Wiring harness and ECU. They kept the vehicle with them for more than 18 days and said that I needed to pay the above price to get the vehicle fixed. Eventually, I contacted Carriage Kia and they towed the vehicle back to Woodstock and they fixed it within 6 days without any charge to me. They only had to replace the fuse to fix the vehicle. I was extremely stressed at that time as I was left without my primary vehicle and had to uber, rent a car or Taxi around for day-to-day things. They were essentially trying to charge me more than $8000 for fixing something that was not broken. BE AWARE OF SUCH More
