We were concerned when the engine indicator began flashing and our KIA went into limp home mode, because we knew about the possibility of engine failure with certain model years. We had the car towed flashing and our KIA went into limp home mode, because we knew about the possibility of engine failure with certain model years. We had the car towed to Lou Sobh and it turned out that it did need a replacement engine. We were worried that our car would be there for two months waiting for parts, and we were also worried about getting the runaround on the warranty. But Lou Sobh did the engine testing within about a week, got authorization from KIA, and ordered the new engine promptly. Once it arrived, they installed it within a few days. They even fixed another issue that they noticed while doing the main job. We were able to drive off with a brand new engine, and a warranty extended to 15 years or 150,000 miles on the power train. The service manager, Jeff, kept up updated and always returned messages. While this was a worrisome situation initially, Lou Sobh really reduced our stress by standing by the warranty and doing the work quickly and properly. So far, it's like a new car. More
