We drove from Richmond, VA to Cumming, GA on vacation with the plan to “hopefully” buy a new 2025 Honda Odyssey. (Low inventory and no break from full MSRP pricing pushed us out of Virginia). The e-Quote we received for the 2025 and my 2013 trade in was a first for me in 30 years - low pressure, “here’s our offer” was remarkable. The final estimate was close, and very fair for both Lou Sobh and us. Overall, fabulous experience with the Lou Sobh dealership. The salesman, Joseph Allen was exceptional. He almost immediately texted me after the eQuote (at my request) and kept the comms very high and quality through the process. The Honda auto quality sells the product, the Honda salespeople facilitate the transaction. Great job to Joseph for the December 2024 salesperson of the month - we were happy to hear we helped this fine salesman with the 12/2024 award. Our Finance Business rep, Andrew Fabec, who finalized our loan, paperwork, and got us on our way was an absolute magician. He was able to quickly find the Virginia DMV paperwork needed to complete the transaction for us in Cumming, GA (out of state). The iPad/electronic process was excellent and we were on our way. (Thanks again, Andrew!) Negative: Honda Finance/Fraud department. We had to wait 6 hours (!!!!) for Honda Fraud to verify our Credit Report Un-Freeze and Identity to complete the loan. (I had a backup plan with Navy Federal Credit Union and they completed this task in 5 minutes). Dear Honda Fraud - my wife was in a Honda dealership with her ID… why did it take you 6 hours to call us? (This almost cost Lou Sobh and us this deal). This wait drove my “average” score below for Honda Finance Corporation. No fault to the Lou Sobh dealership. Overall, when my 2017 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition needs to be updated (love my truck), I would again drive to Cumming, GA for another Lou Sobh deal. Quality cars, excellent customer care, my kids loved your hot chocolate, and wife loves her new 2025 Honda Odyssey Elite. I bought my 2013 Honda Odyssey touring in Knoxville, TN brand new and traded it with 221,000 miles. Kids were very sad to see their “old van full of memories” go to a new home, but we love our updated 2025. We’re headed back to Virginia today and loving the ride! I added a Google Review, Instagram hashtag posting, and Facebook comment on the Lou Sobh facebook page. Thanks again, Joseph Allen! I’ll come see you when I’m ready to upgrade my 2017 Honda Ridgeline! More
