This is my second new car purchase from Lou Fusz Toyota. Both experiences were smooth, professional and better than any dealer I have ever purchased from. My interactions and experience with the service department also contribute to my return to Lou Fusz (I've only had routine maintenance at 160,000 on my 2007). The staff always treat the customer professionally and take the time to explain what they will be doing. They never talk down to you which, as a woman, I have experienced at other shops. My first purchase was in April of 2007, my most recent in November 2009; to date I have not had a negative experience at this dealership. More
Jim Donahue did an excellent job for us. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and gave us a reasonable price quickly. He also "babysat" us while we waited, for nearly an hour, to do the financing pape knowledgeable, courteous, and gave us a reasonable price quickly. The Business Manager's assistant Don, took up too much time trying to sell us extended warranties. When we got the car home, we discovered that the mud guards had not been installed & had to make an appt. for that (it was handled quickly and I was provided with a rental). The inside of the windshield had a haze on it that almost looked like cigarette smoke (or a bad cleaning job). We were also a bit surprised to see that the car had nearly 750 miles on it. This is the second vehicle that we have purchased from you and I have always had servicing done there. All said and done, it was a pleasant experience, with a couple of hiccups. This service dept is the norm for non-luxury type, i.e., they don't go the extra mile and have disgusting coffee in the waiting area. We own two Toyota and for basic service it's fine. There haven't been any isssues with my son's 4Runner. But, I took my 2010 Sequoia in for service , and because the XM radio screen wasn't right, and they just shrugged and said that's how it supposed to be. Another dealership in Washington, MO. got the part and fixed it. They were the dealership the car was purchased from and had a long-standing relationship with the leasing agent who purchased the car, so I guess they cared about keeping the customer. Unfortunately this dealership is far from our home and Fusz is very close. More
Our saleman Rob was very friendly and very informative and answer all our questions. He explained everything about the car inside and out. We had an outstanding experience from our contact with the salesman, Jim Donohue, to the service department, Larry Zeid, and the follow up by Philip Fusz. Each one did an excellent job in keeping us informed in the progress of securing this vehicle, especially Larry, who's service department brought the vehicle up to certificed standards. There were delays because of the extreme cold weather. Larry notified us and kept us informed every step of the way. Our salesman was direct and forth coming with us concerning the price. We believe we were given the best price possible. The level of skill in the service department will keep me returning for future service. We received a kind email from Philip Fusz as a follow up which we greatly appreciated. It matters when the boss takes the time to reach out to customers. More

The service is prompt and friendly. The waiting areas are clean with adequate seating and wi fi is available. They let you know ahead of time how long the repair will take. I found the vehicle I wanted on Autotrader, contacted the saleperson Chris Cunningham, and with a few phone calls we were able to arrive at an agreement on price/trade-in that we were both happy with. When we arrived from Evansville, IN (10AM, approx 3hr drive) ready to purchase, after a quick drive and "once over", through no apparent fault of Chris, we found the purchase procedure very time consuming. I understand there are legal obligations and everyone was interested in being sure we fully understood what "the deal" was. Despite needing no time for negotiations, we weren't able to leave until 12:30PM. I think an operation as big as Fusz should have this part of the purchase experience much more streamlined.
