I was intent on buying a new Toyota Highlander SE FWD with a navigation system. While I had bought our '06 Highlander from Lou Fusz, I still did my 'on-line' homework, and also called another St Louis T with a navigation system. While I had bought our '06 Highlander from Lou Fusz, I still did my 'on-line' homework, and also called another St Louis Toyota dealer. The other dealer insisted an SE with FWD could NOT be built. Back at Lou Fusz, salesmen Jim and Steve showed me printouts of cars being built with the specifications I wanted. Becasue of the homework I had done, the sale price negotiation went rather smoothy and painlessly. After the saleinformation and closing went well. Btw, the dealership has, in my experience, a good service shop. More
Mark was very customer oriented and knows how to talk to people respectfully. He helped me by calling me before I could come up to view the Acura TL I bought and telling me that he still had it in stock. people respectfully. He helped me by calling me before I could come up to view the Acura TL I bought and telling me that he still had it in stock. I will recommend your dealership to anyone I know looking for a new or used car. I have a friend looking for a TL like mine, so if you get one in, I will tell him to come check you guys out. Thanks for everything. A very satisfied customer. More
Very good experience! Most of the deal was done on-line and / or over the phone prior to our arrival. All we had to do was drive the car, sign the papers, write the check, and we were on the road home! Y and / or over the phone prior to our arrival. My 91 year old mother badly dented her 11 year old Chrystler and needed a "new" car. Linda showed her several used cars, my mother liked the 2009 Toyota Corolla mainly because of the color, but this Chrystler and needed a "new" car. Linda showed her several used cars, my mother liked the 2009 Toyota Corolla mainly because of the color, but this particular car has all of the desirable features my mother could use without the unnecesary extras. Linda was very courteous and patient, I highly recommend her as a sales person. More
The minute I walked into Lou Fusz Toyota I had 4 sales associated on me like rats on cheese, it wasn't the best first impression, especially that I had to keep repeating myself that I have been emailing a associated on me like rats on cheese, it wasn't the best first impression, especially that I had to keep repeating myself that I have been emailing an associate Todd, and waiting for him. Todd overall was a very friendly person, decently knowledgable about the Toyotas, and much experience in the market. What made me very opposed to this dealership is that he wanted to sell me a vehicle in inventory, and kept stressing it, once he found that barrier was not coming down (I wanted a custom ordered car) he went on saying that the vehicle I wanted I could NOT get, Toyota did NOT offer this vehicle...He wanted to get me a base model that was already built and on its way, he pushed and pushed to try and get me a number for a car that I didn't want. On top of the hassle I threw a trade in the mix, and when that number didn't match I was quite furious, he wanted to give me 4000 dollars less then what I owed on the car!!! This was the 4th Toyota dealership I had been to that week alone, and I was beginning to get a bit lost with the Toyota world... After everything was said and done, Todd was supposed to get back with me, but never did, an automated email was sent out 3 months after we spoke that questioned if I was in the market for a new vehicle, after responding that the sales staff was poor and to take me off the email list I finally broke contact. Sad to say that this dealership only wanted to sell what was in inventory, not actually help the customer in what they actually wanted, and what else is REALLY sad, is that I went to my 5th dealership and they ordered the car that I wanted, the car that Lou Fusz Toyota said WAS NOT MADE.... One would think that a Toyota dealership would know exactly what models and options are available from their own line of cars. More
waited 90 minutes to get into business office...salesman handed us the keys and said thanks with no orientation to the new car...got the impression they wanted our money and that was all...very poor custome handed us the keys and said thanks with no orientation to the new car...got the impression they wanted our money and that was all...very poor customer service from the sales staff.won't go back More
these two guys went out of their way to handle a small problem with our highlander. rather than just sell us a part, they made sure that the part was correct and then took care of installing it, even tho problem with our highlander. rather than just sell us a part, they made sure that the part was correct and then took care of installing it, even though I had just stopped by to ask them a question. as always, the service was professional and courteous. If your credit is sub-par, you must read this! This can happen to anyone with any type of credit. John Cook (financing department) said I was approved at a specific interest rate by a specific finance com happen to anyone with any type of credit. John Cook (financing department) said I was approved at a specific interest rate by a specific finance company. They told me the payments. I signed the papers. I returned the next day with the required references, paycheck stub and title to my trade-in. Then they let me drive off with the vehicle. Jim Donohue called me back weeks later and said that they messed up on the finance papers and that the finance person wasn't there anymore. He wanted me to come in and sign new papers. I found out that was not the reason they wanted me to come back in. Steve Gianino said that my financing wasn't approved & I needed to sign new finance papers & they raised the interest rate 8%. When I went to the dealership, Steve Gianino said that I falsified my income, which wasn't true. My pay stub which I provided to them tells the truth. Steve Gianino and Scott Cross said that I illegally had the car and had to return it. My first payment wasn't even due yet and I had given them my trade in worth $6123. Steve Gianino called the police and threatened to have me arrested for auto theft. The Kirkwood, MO police came. I tearfully explained the situation and said that the car was in my name, registered in my name, insured in my name, showed them that I had a legal right to the car, etc. I was allowed to leave with the new unsigned contract to "mull it over for a day", but I had to be back the next day or face arrest. Steve Gianino said that if I returned the car, that I had to sign an Affidavit of No Interest when I returned the car. Legally they had to return the worth of my trade-in. I had to hire a lawyer the next day to ensure that my interests were protected also. I returned the car the next day, received a check for the $6123.00. Before you buy a vehicle ANYWHERE, research on the internet "Spot Delivery Scam" or "YoYo Scam." More
Steve was extra helpful and friendly. He help me to make a decision based on ecomomy. Quite unusual because it meant that I would be b buying a used Toyota Corolla -- he sold new Toyotas!
