First, you have to know, I LOVED my car. I had it for 17 years. It was the first car I ever bought. But then. I rescued 65 pound puppies who didn’t fit well into it and my perfect car st I had it for 17 years. It was the first car I ever bought. But then. I rescued 65 pound puppies who didn’t fit well into it and my perfect car started making a concerning noise. Nor was it street legal anymore. So I gave up. Of course I’d decide to buy a car at the hardest time to buy one (I did that with my house too. It tracks). Buddy reached out and discussed my options with me, setting proper expectations. I felt like I knew what I was getting into. He invited me in and said we could discuss all my options. I went in not thinking I’d be able to get a car (thanks pandemic for sucking all the fun out of getting a car). Buddy asked my price range and turned out just that day he’d had a Rav4 in red (number one priority!) come available but it was just outside of my price range. And then. I test drove it. Imagine you have a car that was a basic car 17 years ago and you drive a Limited Rav4 with literally anything this girl could imagine and more, you quickly realize that “just outside of my price range” is now “just inside of my price range”. I LOVE my car. I’m so glad Buddy reached out and he helped me get into a car yesterday. My first car was also a Toyota, and I was a very young adult when I bought it, so imagine what it went through vs what I will put this one through. You know I’ll be driving this one for longer! Joshua McEwan received our request for a Rav-4 for my wife's first large purchase on her own. He knew exactly the car to show us. It's a 2019 in great shape. One minor issue was a scratch that he explained would save us $700 off the cost of the vehicle (after conferring with his manager). That was quite fair and we appreciated that. He also explained that Mr. Fusz has a policy of not hiking new car prices over MSRP, which other dealers in STL do. I didn't know that and appreciated knowing that. I knew of Mr. Fusz when I was a reporter long ago for the Globe-Democrat, and I know of his integrity, a vital trait for me. I will pass along Josh's name to others I hear of who want a car.
