Lamento tener que dirigirme a usted para exponer lo que considero ha sido una de las peores experiencias que he vivido dentro del mundo automotriz: el intento de compra de un auto usado en la sucursal de Lorenzo Ford en Homestead. Mi intención de compra de una Explorer XLT 2020 (usada) comenzó con múltiples llamadas hechas al Sr. Arnaldo, quien muy amablemente me dejó esperando por información de los impuestos que aplicarían al auto en el momento; esto debido a que tengo sólo dos semanas en los Estados Unido y a pesar haber trabajado en la industria automotriz, desconozco los impuestos locales ya que este sería mi primer auto a adquirir en suelo americano. Luego de los numerosos intentos en el día de ayer, 6 para ser preciso, hoy el Sr. Oscar muy gentilmente me atendió y fui informado de ellos, así como de "el precio del auto". Por teléfono le expliqué al Sr. Oscar que estando en Aventura me tomaría de 1 1/2 a 2 horas llegar hasta el concesionario, con lo que quería evitar a toda costa que aparecieran gastos o costos adicionales en el momento de llegar al concesionario, a lo que me ASEGURÓ que no habría ninguno y que el precio del auto comunicado incluso era "negociable". Lamentablemente no fue así, esto comunicado (como me temía) después de ya estar en el concesionario. Puedo extenderme en desagradables detalles como una bastante antipática recepción de un tal "Many" (creo que se llamaba así), su posterior intento de aumento del precio de 1.500 dólares, pasando por la burla de al menos 4 personas "del equipo", una muy mala explicación del Carfax (me dijeron que podría saber si el auto tuvo algún desperfecto, sólo DESPUÉS de comprado el auto, ya que era un dato privado, para lo que simplemente no tengo comentarios) e incluso la no-identificación del personal de gerencia. Le puedo decir que en el momento de escribirle estas líneas no estoy seguro de quién era el gerente, o si en algún momento logré hablar con uno. Por último, me dijeron entre risas que éste era "el formato de venta" de todos los concesionarios de La Florida, que me ahorráse mi tiempo ya que en todos lados me mentirían con el precio y me tratarían de esa forma, cosa que estoy seguro no será así. Luego, "el gerente" me dijo que debido a mi reclamo me daría el precio que me informaron por teléfono, agregando "los fees", pero evidentemente no existiendo en ese momento confianza alguna la decisión estaba tomada por mi parte. Luego, cuando les dije que debido a todo lo anteriormente relatado ya no estaba interesado adquirir el auto, sino en elevar una queja a quien correspondiera, se negaron a darme indicación alguna de como hacerlo, ningún formulario de Ford para este fin (no se si existen o de haberlo, en que formato), identificación o tarjeta de presentación, inclusive me dijeron QUE NO TENÍAN NINGÚN BOLÍGRAFO para que tomase notas, con lo que opté por hablar con una chica en la caja, quien amablemente me dió su email (mal, por supuesto, por lo que lo envío a las combinaciones a ver si hay suerte y usted lo recibe). Espero que entienda que en su posición me encantaría me pusieran al tanto de una situación como esta, inicialmente para evitar que la imagen de mi empresa se viera dañada por el indescriptible comportamiento que su equipo tuvo para con un cliente y por supuesto para evitar que esto pudiera llegar a conocimiento de Ford, como intentaré en breve. Me despido con la esperanza de que este correo pueda servirle tanto a usted, como a futuros clientes de su empresa y de Ford. Nadie merece un trato como el recibido por mi el día de hoy. The originally posted photos didn't show that one tire had a crack in it, multiple rips in the seats, or that the headliner was falling down in multiple places. My sale was transferred over to Luis D, who has been incredibly difficult to get into contact with. When the truck only had one key with it, and that key had non-functional buttons on it, he quickly offered me a free extra key - and after five weeks of calling him, I still don't have it and he claims to not remember the exchange. The key I was given cost $40 to fix - they had super glued the chip for the truck into the wrong plastic shell, so none of the buttons lined up. I've requested to speak to Luis' manager multiple times and never gotten through, and the voicemails I've managed to leave have not been returned. If you're shopping out of state, or shopping online, avoid this place at all costs. If you deal with Luis, get anything he says in writing with witnesses, because he's quite willing to lie and conveniently forget about it. More

Take your money to some other more reputable dealership! I purchased a Ford Explorer on April 22nd and the sales person was Juan Talavera. After we agreed on the interest rate and the amount being financed, I left that office and went to pay for the down payment in another building. When I came back my wife had already signed everything and we just left the dealership thinking that we were given the figures we had agreed on previously, first with the sales manager and salesperson and later with Ariel Alvarez. What a mistake that assumption was! They ended up charging $2400 more than we anticipated. Ariel Alvarez told us that they will refund the total gap insurance amount and the other discrepancy had to be discussed with the sales person and his manager. First of all, Ariel told us that the gap insurance was going to be just $750 but he charged us $1100. As for the sales person and his manager, I’m still waiting for them to give me the document my wife signed with all the figures we agreed on. Needless to say that they aren’t willing to give us that document because it shows that we were given some other extra chargers that we did not agreed on. I’m contacting FORD as I’m truly mad at how these Lorenzo’s Ford employees were able to do whatever the heck they wanted to with total disrespect towards us.
