I purchased a Scion XB and three days later brought it in due to problems with the hood. The sevice department looked at it and said it was not a warranty problem and referred me to their body shop. I just buy the Carmy 2011 ,only 1200 miles , i think it has transmittion problem when i bring it, and the service technical person come out to check the car, he said car normal , and second day he call me has transmittion problem when i bring it, and the service technical person come out to check the car, he said car normal , and second day he call me that he has to change the transmittion or fix something in my car . After they fix the car, i pick up the same day, the problem is still the same, no change, I bring back for next day, they said the car is fine, even without to test drive my car, I'm very upset and disappiont the service from them. they said they need to wait for the regional manager on thursday to follow up the car or let him to check it again. While bringing in my vehicle for service I was visited by a service guest relations Joanne Hamilton. I explained to her that I have been coming here for years, because I believe to find this dealership honest. I do believe that the ones whom are here the longest though are the most honest. I have seen many service teams here and many of them are nice and honest, those whom are not up to par are taken off the team, which is why I find this dealership to be very good. Lies are not tolerated among the dealership's employees. If I had any problems in the past I have talked to guest relations and everything was taken care of well. More
On 06/26/10 I had an appointment at 1230pm to service my 2007 yaris; I was told it will be ready at 4pm.The car was not ready until 425pm . Before I paid I asked the service advisor if the maintenance butto 2007 yaris; I was told it will be ready at 4pm.The car was not ready until 425pm . Before I paid I asked the service advisor if the maintenance button has been reset he replied yes. I went outside and waited until 440pm to get the car and sure enough when I started the engine the light was flashing and was not reset. The car had to go go back to be taken care of and it was returned 5 minutes later. The car was not ready on the promised time and what upset me is I asked about the light and was told yes it was reset when it was not. I drove from Orange county got there on time and waited 4 hours and your employees did not perform their jobs as they were suppose to. I had another incident with your people on 12/21/2009 when I took the same car for service and the technician did not fasten the caps and the car was making a noise and I did call you and spoke to you about it. It looks like it is a continuous issue with your service department and negligence is an issue and form last December it does not look like it is fixed and if it is happening to my car I am sure it is happening to others.What will you do if it happened to you ? I bought three cars from your dealership in 2005 and 2007. And since I bought the last 2 cars in August 2007 I have been driving each time 62 miles to service the cars for the past 34 months and this this the second time I had an issue which will raise the following questions: Trust and honesty . I have had a long relationship with Longo Toyota. I bought my Prius there in 2003 and have had all my maintenance done at Longo. I have almost always had exceptional service. I had an appointment for service and met with the service rep I was assigned to. I had a small concern about that rep and brought it to the attention of Young Tea. WOW! From that moment on I got the best customer service ever! Young kept me informed about the status of my car and even personally inspected the car after it was detailed. Thanks so much to Longo, Joanne Hamilton to whom I also spoke and especially to the star of this service show - Young Tea! More
Took my FJ in for a brake job on 4/14/10. My overall experience surpassed my expectations. Joanne Hamilton, Guest Relations, was great. She greeted me when I got out of my car and put me at ease. She was a lot of fun yet professional. Longo understands what customers need and want, friendliness, honesty, efficiency, and the many extra special touches in their guest lounge. Fred was an excellent salesman and never worried about the commission. He even drove the car to my house on a Saturday morning because I had no way of getting there. I drove him back and bought the car immediately. He was always honest and cheerful, and even shared the commission with a fellow co-worker who wasn't event there that day, but had taken our phone call the night before. That kind of respect and consideration is difficult to find in the car business. Paul is a very pleasant service tech and I get the impression that he will be working with me on ensuring that my car is safe and well cared for for some time to come. Everyone at Longo appears happy to be working here and they treat their guests with respect. I got an excellent deal and the prices for service are totally reasonable. The accommodations while you are waiting for service are wonderful and well thought out, especially for a busy working mother. Thanks for being what you say you are... a place that takes care of its customers. More
