Took my Hyundai in for service. I had two issues with the car. I paid the diagnostic fee of $180, they looked at my car, and said there was nothing wrong with the engine when it is I had two issues with the car. I paid the diagnostic fee of $180, they looked at my car, and said there was nothing wrong with the engine when it is clearly making a knocking noise. I then asked about the second concern I took it in for and was then informed at that time it would be a second diagnostic fee. I have taken my car in for multiple problems to other dealerships before and it was all covered under one diagnostic fee. So basically I paid $180 to have them tell me nothing was wrong with my car and they didnt even look at the second problem. I got in contact with the service manager who discredited my concerns. Before hanging up the phone on me, the manager refunded my diagnostic fee since they didnt do anything for my car and I promised to never go back there for service. More
Did not tell me my options until I asked them if I could do a less expensive alternative, then said oh sure you can certainly do that. Also called me to tell me needed to change cabin air filter and if I wa do a less expensive alternative, then said oh sure you can certainly do that. Also called me to tell me needed to change cabin air filter and if I wanted they could clean the entire system for me, for even more money- never said I needed it done! I called 2 other places that service Hyundais and they quoted me much lower cost to do same work and both said they highly doubted I needed my air filter changed with such low mileage and certainly not the entire system. I felt that this service department tried to taken advantage of me as a female and were looking to increase their profit by overcharging and suggesting services that were not necessary. I won’t return here for service or sales. Also was called the night before by a sales person from the dealership asking if I wanted to trade my car in when I came in for service and I I said I just got my car and he said well he would see me in the morning to try to see if they could change my mind. I gave my phone number to the service department not the sales department! Totally slimy business tactics here! More
There was a major lack of communication leading up to my appointment. Staff treated me like I was an inconvenience just for being there, and it seems they had more interest in trying to get me to sell/trade appointment.
