Luke R, Thank you for taking a moment from your busy day to let us know how we are doing, we appreciate the input. The recall we performed on your vehicle was the "993 Anti-Theft Software and window decal" recall. I don't know what you think we did to your vehicle, but the recall was a simple software update. To complete the recall we accessed your vehicle's computer through the OBDII diag port under the steering wheel, and put a see-through sticker on the driver's side window. Nothing we did on that visit required accessing anything under lower engine cover of your vehicle. I interviewed the technician that worked on your vehicle and he confirmed that removing the engine cover wasn't done as it wasn't necessary.
