After a week this 6 year old American made disaster began to have electrical problems, from the heater periodically stopping, to the dashboard lights flickering out. The final straw was the key getting jammed the ignition and not being able to start the truck. Returning to the dealership I was beyond livid and ready to accept voluntary repossession on site. Both Matt Lagao and Steffan Wog greeted me with professionalism and patience. Steffan was the original sales associate and did spend a considerable amount time with the Ram making sure it met my needs. Being new to Anchorage I had no clue where to have this truck examined by an independent mechanic and accept fault for not having vehicle looked at before buying. The issues with the truck are no reflection on Steffan who was a personable consummate professional and made the buying experience enjoyable. Matthew Solbos was the money man and explained the contract terms to me clearly and answered all questions...to include the warning that the truck is being sold as is. After the nightmare of having a 6 yr old disposable American made vehicle fall apart on me, it was Matt Lagao who dealt with my agitated demeanor upon my return to the dealership; and his professionalism and ability to remain calm and recognize my aggravation while treating me with great respect actually calmed me down. After some research, and a sizeable cash back option, I decided to trade the Ram for a 2016 Hyundai Veloster. Not only did I acquire a car with the technological bells and whistles one could ask for, but the deal actually lowered my payment compared with that electricians nightmare of a truck. This dealership could have said, "you bought as is, too bad" and been completely justified in doing so. They went the extra mile to find something that works, made the deal happen, and sent my emotional rollercoaster the other way, from mad to glad. Reputation means something to this staff and this dealership, and it was evident in how they bent over backwards to make a horrible experience into a great experience. Anchorage is fortunate have a car dealership with such a commendable business work ethic. And it is because of that ethic and professionalism I encourage anyone seeking a vehicle to head straight to Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage. Job well done and thank you. More

We did a lot of research before arriving at the dealership, so we knew what we wanted in a vehicle, and we were very pleased to find everything our heart desired in the 2017 Santa Fe. We were able to connect with Big Joe Mcknight, and we absolutely loved him. He is very personable, real, and not overwhelming pushy. He is the ideal sale person and he made the experience enjoyable. Some sales people are a turn off and you end up getting something that you did not start out to get, because the salesperson put a bad taste in your mouth.
