Horrible Service with the Service Departmant Horrible service with the service department. I have a 06 diesel that they Charged me 2700 bucks to fix something that is still not fixed properly. Wh Horrible service with the service department. I have a 06 diesel that they Charged me 2700 bucks to fix something that is still not fixed properly. When i picked up my truck it was hard to start. So I took my truck home and went to work an hour and a half after all the work was completed my truck is still not fixed the same issue is there that I originally brought the truck in for. Now they want to charge me another 2900 dollars for something they "think" is going to fix the issue. I asked how they know thats the problem they said its a common problem that a bolted in metal tube just bends from vibrations. I called a few reputable diesel mechanic shops around town and for what lithia has already done and what they want to do those other shops would have only charged about 1500 bucks for the truck to be fixed right the first time. After writing a review on google the service manager then refused to fix the issuse. I then had it towed to another shop and they found that the branch tube bolts where the stc fitting which ford replaced were cross threaded and improperly torqued. I contacted the service manager of ford and he stated that in the original repair they completed the tech wrote the bolts felt cross threaded when removing them no where in the report does it state that he looked at the bolts after removing them to see if they were cross threaded. It just states that he replaced them. I was also not notified of that issue. I will never take my truck back to this company again. And never recommend this service department to anybody. More

We did it! Explorer no. Four! Casey Bays treated us with respect. We were "just shopping" the first day we stopped. I mean we were really trying to decide if we wanted another Casey Bays treated us with respect. We were "just shopping" the first day we stopped. I mean we were really trying to decide if we wanted another Ford or whether we should try another brand. We did some other looking and after sleeping on the problem I determined I still favored the Explorer. My last three vehicles have been Explorers, all purchased new and sold or traded in at 100,000-120,000 miles. We were glad to have a period of time to weigh the pros and cons of our decision. More
