After spending all day at that dealership we became worn out because the staff kept going back in forth with payment and over all pricing. The next day we called Lithia and we were put in contact with Kim Luy, new car sales. Within 1 hour they gave us the best price which included lifetime oil changes, extended warranty, and additional trade in value. The payments were 250.00 less than the other dealership which did not include the oil changes or extended warranty. Kim went way out of her way to make this purchase the most pleasant one we have ever had. Kim Luy is a credit to what Lithia Ford stands for. More

I entered into the service center at 7:06 am to deliver my car for the 8 am appointment. When I walked in the door, Ryan and another person where deep in there phones texting, only on person Kevin acknowledged my existence, he then referred me to Ryan, who was annoyed I dare bother him. He had me fill out paper work, telling me to give my email as they were going paperless, I asked if they are going to sell my email address as this is a legitimate questions. He took offense. No ride was offered, glad I made my own arrangements. I was told I would get a call about the lift gate. I called at 11 AM spoke with Ryan again, I asked if the car was ready, and what was going on with it. He said he had to go ask, then he asked if I needed my car. I said No, I just don't like others to have it. (it was a gift from my husband) He said I will terminate the order and you can come get it. I then asked to speak with a Service Manager, once Ted got on the phone he had no idea who I was or why I was calling. He had to put me on hold and to go find out about my car. I get that the recall is a computer thing and it takes hours, but logically wouldn't you do the lift gate first in case you had to order parts. Nothing but attitude from both employees. The lack of customer service makes one question why wouldn't you drive to Meridian or Nampa to another ford, but they are all probably the same. 12:26 PM Spoke with general manager, he explained that I was the one in the wrong, even after explaining that I caught his employees being untruthful. He stated I am the one being rude, and terminated my repair. However, I was told by his employee Ted when I spoke with him about 11 that the car was right in the middle of the recall updating the computer and it couldn't be moved. The general manager said my car wasn't being done at all. SO I am confused as to why I am the one being rude when, can't get a straight answer out of any of them. General Manager stated someone would be dropping my car off in a few minutes its now 1:10 PM and no car. I doubt my review will be posted but I will be taking this up with Ford Corporate. More
Lithia Ford of Boise has the WORST SERVICE and REPAIR EVER DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR/TRUCK TO LITHIA FORD COLLISION REPAIR!!! These guys are not qualified to repair cars or trucks, and will rip you OFF, give you t DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR/TRUCK TO LITHIA FORD COLLISION REPAIR!!! These guys are not qualified to repair cars or trucks, and will rip you OFF, give you the run around, not follow up on repairs as promise, and upon return tell you it wasn't covered(after promising to fix it), or tell you it was never discussed(even though I had it was in the estimate)! I had my Ford truck taken to Lithia after a roll over in the snow in the first week of February. When I got the truck back in the first week of April, and even though EVERY technician and the Manager Shane had "all driven the truck", they missed a large hole in the transmission, (and the skipping and clunking into reverse), the cracked windshield(which was in the estimate), the LARGE crack in the new front grill, or the rear bumper sensors after replacing the rear bumper among a bundle of other issues. The entire process was toxic. It was like pulling teeth to get them to correctly fix everything on the estimate, and I have now had to take the truck in 4 separate times for "finish work" since getting the truck back in April. I was told by the manager that this was the second largest repair that they had done and that they were not really equipped to do this type of work,(even though they are "collision and repair specialists") After taking the truck back this morning to have the truck aligned for the 3rd time and to have them tighten the Emergency Brake which was in the estimate, I was told first that it was not in the estimate and never discussed, and when given proof that it was, I was told it was not covered, and I would need to open a new insurance claim to have it fixed! My entire insurance pay out to Lithia Ford of Boise is over $18,000 and despite having a "Lifetime warranty" on the work performed, and being paid for the ENTIRE amount, they do not want to finish the work they have begun. I have been lied to by Service Managing Staff, given the Run-Around repeatedly, and have had them lie to me and my insurance company. When called on it, they say they would fix the emergency brake if the insurance company restates that they will cover it(again, even though it is on the work order estimate), but at a later day because they "didn't have time" for it now, and then they "wash their hands of it"!! Worst customer service and interaction ever. Still have things that need to be fixed... I can only imagine what will happen to someone who actually bought a car from these clowns... Next step might be lawsuit... More
My husband and I purchased a new Ford Escape from Lithia last January and while that was a great experience I am writing this review for the level of service we received since our purchase. After driving i last January and while that was a great experience I am writing this review for the level of service we received since our purchase. After driving it for a few months we kept noticing an irritating noise inside the vehicle and could never pin point exactly where it was coming from. We made an appointment with Lithia service department and Rhett happened to be the service manager that was assigned to us. He listened to our complaint and took it for a drive and also heard the noise as well. He and his mechanics went on a quest to try and find the noise. After several attempts and finding little fixes for a day or two it would appear again. It was very frustrating for everyone. What impressed us was his diligence to resolve the problem for us. After they had exhausted what they knew they did not hesitate to call in the big guns. They brought out a Ford Engineer to assist them. Well, he even got frustrated but after two attempts they found the source. Now mind you they had to tear the whole back end out and put it back together. It of course was a silly cable that was not secure that was located in an obscure area in the back. During this whole process Rhett would greet us with a smile and a can do attitude. He never gave up and made us feel very important and that he genuinely cared about us and making it right. I have been in sales and customer service industry for over 39 years so, it is not easy to impress me. To make matters worse my husband is a civil engineer and not easy to please. Rhett followed thru on every one of his time commitments, follow-up and phone calls. He sealed the deal for my husband to consider buying his next vehicle from Lithia. Which found us today at the dealership test driving vehicles. Lithia is lucky to have a great manager and employee like Rhett. More
I had stopped into LITHIA FORD last week to look for a new truck.i had talked with Dave Balbas, very nice guy. I had found one that I liked. I went back yesterday { 8/31/13 } to talk to them again. The salesman that I had talked to before was busy, so I talked with Neris, another nice salesman. He was doing every thing he could to try to earn my business. Then I didn't think that I was getting a fair deal on my trade in. Way to low of a price for a 2007 vehicle with only 68000 miles. So then I'm assuming one of the managers, ( short guy- bald head ) jumps in and tries to get me to agree to a deal. I had also told him that I had other TOYS that I wanted to get rid of so I could just pay cash to complete the deal. I told him what I had to also trade or sell. I told him exactly what they were and the mileage, and what I thought I could sell them for outright for. even showed him pictures. He left for a couple of minutes and returned. Asked me, " If we give you what I wanted for the other vehicles, would we have a deal? This would of totaled $24300.00 for a trade in value plus $12000.00. The truck I wanted was priced at just over $32000.00. And then I told him I was going to drive the new truck out to show my wife so she could she it, he said OK. Before the salesman Neris and I could even got out of the parking spot, he comes out waving his hands. Stops us, and says, nope we couldn't do that deal at the price he committed to. Now it was going to be another $5000.00 on top of what we just agreed upon 5 minutes before. First of all, he flat out and LIED to me on the truck deal. Second, he can't add. 24300.00 plus 12000.00 = 36300.00 not 32000.00 plus that the truck actually cost. He was trying to tell me some other stuff to get me to believe why the truck price had gone up. So for me, being LIED to, Told that we had a deal if I agreed to his deal, we would of had a deal. And then he changes the prices. Is B.S. So thanks Lithia for screwing up my plans on buying a new truck from YOU. What would my LAWYER say? Mike Justice More
