I brought my HHR in on Saturday without an appointment, because my grandson had spilt red punch on the seat. Upon visiting different dealers in search for a purchase of my very first new car at the age of 60 years old, I visited Lithia Ford of Fresno. It was there my husband and I met Mat Powell. He was wonderful, of my very first new car at the age of 60 years old, I visited Lithia Ford of Fresno. It was there my husband and I met Mat Powell. He was wonderful, very knowledgeable and professional in helping us choose and get what we wanted, a Ford Escape But shortly after our purchase, I began unexpected health problems which led to my need to resign my employment. After a year and half we had to return to Mat and ask for help to get our payments down and Mat did just that. We now own a Ford Fusion and we love it! So thanks to Mat, he saved us. We believe that Mat Powell is one of your greatest assets that Ford Company has. We also feel forever linked to him and Ford Co Thank you for the opportunity to express our experience. I am posting this review due to the service I received during my last visit for service at Lithia. My vehicle needed some expensive repairs and I was just out of the Ford warranty period. I called and spoke with Angelic after contacting Ford customer service. She said she would speek to them and get right back to me, and she did. She told me the repairs would be covered and I would have to pay a very small amount. Then we set an appointment and the service was excellent. Her professional and punctual response was refreshing. I thought, some people do still care about customer service. Huh, that is rare these days. More
I bought my car over two years ago and have been taking my car for routine services since. I have only been truly pleased probably 2 times. My phone calls are never returned when I have called to make an appointment and no one was available to answer the phone. I have had to call most times to see if my car is done when I do have it there. On a few occasions the cover for my seat has been removed from the crumpled up mess it is in on my seat. The shuttle has forgotten me once and I had to wait over 2 hours for them to find another driver to come get me, which was apologized for. Recently I was there for an oil change and asked them to replace the weather stripping on my sun roof as it had come off. They said it may take a little longer since they had to take it back to the body shop or different part of the service dept. I sat a waited for it and two hours later they came to tell me they didn't have the part they needed so I would have to come back. I am not sure why that took 2 hours to figure out. They told me the part should be in in a few days and they would call me to make an appointment when it was in. I had to call them 2 weeks later when I still had not heard from them. Today, I attempted to update my SYNC and the screen froze, so after and hour and 15 minutes I called the dealership to ask if I was able to turn off my car. I am still waiting for a phone call back from 2 different people (this was 2 plus hours ago). I called again to ask if I could bring it down to them and I was told I should bring it in later in the week. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service and competency of this dealership and would not recommend anyone go through them. More

Bill...was thorough in explaining the finance end of things and was very personable. These two individuals,and whoever else worked behind the scenes, to make my deal happen were all wonderful. Thank you Rick and Bill!!!!! My overall experience buying my 4th car from Lithia of Fresno was great (Thank you Rick Vidal and William Olivo). The Negative Part of my car purchase.... My salesperson, Jesus Escobar was the only drawback of my experience. Although he appeared to be working hard at making the deal there were some qualities that did not sit well with me... ? There was begging/pleading that the deal be done that day because it was the last day of the month and he “needed” the sale. ? During the test drive, the conversation focused on him and his child (due to knowing what I do for a living). I was there to buy a car not there to Pro Bono work. ? When it was time to go fill the gas tank (which really should have been done already) the 20 minute trip consisted of him begging for a 100% highest score on the upcoming survey. He explained that he missed out on a bonus previously due to not receiving excellent across the board (as a customer, I should not have been told this). Even after I told him that I would give him a positive survey, he continued to beg and plead telling me “it’s the most important part of the deal.” REALLY?? My satisfaction should have been the most important or at least pretend that it is. ? I brought my car in the following business day to ask about a large dirt mark on the front passenger (leather) seat that looked like a shoe print. I explained to him that I did not notice it until arriving home, as the seat was not empty (while test-driving and getting gas the salesperson was in the car and then my husband was in the seat on the way home. At first, Jesus’ response "are you sure the window tinting guys didn't do it?" I let him know that I noticed it before the windows were done. Jesus then told me to go buy leather cleaner and clean it myself but changed his response possibly due to seeing his manager looking. So, thank you for taking care of that. ? When I received the mini survey (dealing with the Sync) I accidentally marked an answer that was not positive. Upon returning to the dealership (to inquire about the payoff of my trade in) Jesus confronted me on my answer and informed me that he got into trouble. This is not something that should have been done. If he wanted to say something, he should have asked if there was anything further he could do for me in regards to the Sync system, not confront me on my answers. ? In response to my question about the payoff of my trade in, I felt that Jesus was disregarding my concern. I explained to him that a payment was coming up the following week and I needed to make sure that it would be paid off before the due date. I further explained to him that the bank told me that if the payment is not made that they would/could report to the credit bureau. Jesus “educated” me, letting me know that the bank just says that and that he has a lot of years experience and their statement is wrong. He stated that he would follow up with me and then greeted another customer before actually ending the conversation with me. He did call me the following day with a vague answer...but at least he followed through with a call. ? Lack of follow through. Jesus has proven that his primary goal was the actual deal/getting his end of the month sale. I have had my car for just over 3 weeks; during this time, Jesus was supposed to get me a price on an accessory, which only takes contacting the parts department which is located on the same property. This was discussed while purchasing the vehicle. I have followed up with him on 3 occasions and have only received promises of him following through. Well, 3 weeks later I have given up. Although I am not happy with the actual sales person as I feel like he only views the customer as a dollar sign, I will continue to do business with Lithia Ford of Fresno due the other great people there. More
