I emailed dealer about a ford f-150 I wanted to purchase along with the price I wanted to pay and the amount I would like for my trade in I received an email back for a rep Named Anthony Griffin He stated t along with the price I wanted to pay and the amount I would like for my trade in I received an email back for a rep Named Anthony Griffin He stated the the price I offered and the amount I asked for my trade was fine and I quote "you made the deal yourself just come on in to make the deal" arriveing at the dealer I was told the the f-150 would be more and that they would give me lest then a third of the quote for my trade, and I was told that Anthony did not have the authority to make the deal, Then next day I received another email from Anthony and we came to another deal which was to be 18800.00 for the F-150 including tax, tags, and dealer fees. with no trade in. I asked Anthony if he got authorization from a sales manager which he stated yes he did get authorization from sales manager Dave Keegan. Later that evening I received a phone call From Anthony confirming that I would come to the dealer that night which I said they would closed before I could get there and I would be in the next business day. While on the phone I again asked Anthony the turms of the sale which he stated 18800.00 out the door all fees included. The next business day I again drove over an hour to the dealer, and again I was told that the deal was wrong and that I was to 18800.00 plus 2500 down which would have been more then they were asking for the f-150.
