Pretty good service one minor complaint They've become much better at keeping appointments, before it seemed as though you would schedule it and they just realized it when you walked in but They've become much better at keeping appointments, before it seemed as though you would schedule it and they just realized it when you walked in but it's really improved. Never really had any issue with the service they've always been pretty good and straight forward with what's wrong and what needs to be fixed. My only complaint is every time I get service I seem to be down 1 more push pin for the engine cover etc. Probably missing about 5 - 6 now. Like I said very minor, but irks me sometimes. More

After my boyfriend bought his cross-trek a year ago through Dave he brought me to Liberty Subaru to look at Imprezas. Dave worked with me over a year to find the right car at the right price. I was also looking at other dealerships closer to home- Emerson is nowhere near where we live. At other places each sales person immediately shut down and did not take me seriously because I look so young. Dave did not do that. He was easy to talk to and he gave me honest opinions based off his experience. Dave did an amazing job at quickly responding to any questions I had along with being someone we could joke with in the process. It was refreshing to deal with an actual person rather than another shady seeming cars salesman that just wanted to sell me a car and did not actually care about the person they are selling to. I would recommend Liberty Subaru to anyone interested in a Subaru in Northern NJ and if you can, have Dave Finkel as your sales person. More

Easiest car purchase ever!! David Finkel is the best! We went to another dealer, which didn't have the car in which we were interested. Two others sent us constant emails, but didn't return our phone calls. Then our neighbor mentioned Liberty and David, from whom she'd bought two cars and was interested in buying a third. She said Liberty's prices were at least $1,500 less than the other dealers. She sent another neighbor to David, and she bought a car from him. So we took a very long drive to see a car, and returned the next day to purchase it. There was absolutely no hard sell. As a matter of fact, David told us to go home and think about it. Kevin was very helpful with the financial information. All in all, it was a pleasant experience! More

Great Car Buying Experience I recently leased a new Subaru Impreza from Liberty Subaru and the whole experience couldn't possibly have been better. I went to two other dealership I recently leased a new Subaru Impreza from Liberty Subaru and the whole experience couldn't possibly have been better. I went to two other dealerships prior to coming to here and had mediocre to terrible experiences at both. However, the third time must be the charm because this dealership was great. I dealt mainly with Dan L. and also with Kevin M. Dan was incredibly professional, patient, and nice throughout the entire experience. He showed me the car and all the different features (I had already test driven it at another place) and discussed financing and leasing options with me. The whole process was very straightforward, the price was fair, no haggling, and all options were clearly explained. He answered every question I had and was very helpful in arranging a convenient time for me to pick up the car. Kevin M. was who I dealt with when picking up the car and signing paperwork, and was very professional and nice. The entire process was quick and painless, and I wasn't forced to listen to a million different options for the lease or feel pressured into purchasing anything I felt I didn't need. Overall the entire process was painless and very enjoyable. I'd recommend these guys and this dealership to anyone, and I'd say if you're in the market for a Subaru don't even bother going anyplace else. Great experience and love my new car!! More
