He was quick on setting a test drive, thorough in explaining the car in detail, and understanding that I was still in the beginning of my search. Simply out of habit, I did go to few other dealers (both Subaru and non-Subaru) for comparison. Liberty Subaru did stand out in terms of friendliness and willingness to work with you on a deal you would be satisfied with. Personally, between work and unforeseen medical reasons I had a 1.5 month or so halt in my car search. While many other dealers were invasive and kept on hounding me down with calls/emails on whether I've made a decision (even after explaining to them I needed some time), Dave was the one dealer that kept the right distance until I was ready to make the buying decision. In terms of pricing I negotiate no matter what, but comparatively speaking, the impression I got was that Liberty Subaru does offer competitive pricing on first shot. This may be a big plus for those who hate haggling. Once I made the decision to purchase here, everything was smooth and quick, and you can tell they put effort in making us feel that way. My car was in transit at the time of the decision, and Dave frequently updated me on its arrival status while getting other paperwork, trade-in valuation, other admin, etc. out of the way in advance. On the day of actually getting the car, Tom was quick with providing available financing options, and making the transaction/paperwork seamless. Being a new purchase, I still have no comments on the post-purchase experience, but from the experience I've had so far I am quite confident I'd have more good things to say. I will update accordingly once do have some experience. Bottom-line, if you are considering a Subaru in the area, you should definitely try out Dave and Liberty Subaru. More

From my online inquiry to the test drive of a car, my emails back and forth with sales consultant David Finkel, the QUICK service during my appointment (NO WAITING AT ALL), purchase of an XV Crosstrek, and final purchase process with the finance associate, Kevin Mark....EVERYONE was incredibly pleasant, friendly, helpful, not remotely pushy and professional. My husband had bought a Subaru from the Ramsey, NJ dealer and, while he was very happy with his car purchase, he felt that his experience with the dealer left something to be desired. Based on his experiences, he recommended he Liberty Subaru and the difference was like night and day. Liberty Subaru takes customer loyalty and a positive customer experience very seriously. David Finkel was awesome to work with. Not at all pushy, super friendly, very knowledgeable about the vehicles and easy to get in touch with. Kevin Mark was very informative and explained EVERYTHING, which was very valuable from someone like me who is a first time buyer. These guys aren't out to cheat you out of your money either. They are very upfront about everything and are willing to help you out. Again, they care more about gaining your loyalty than getting an extra $50 out of you. Overall, I had an amazing experience and couldn't be happier with my new car! More

Our salesperson, Steve Klein, helped us to order a yet to be built 2016 model in the color we wanted and equipped as we wanted. He correctly estimated the somewhat lengthy time for Subaru to manufacture and deliver our vehicle. When we came to pick up the car, the paperwork for the lease was easy and Steve spent about an hour explaining the car in general and all the new electronics in particular. He was knowledgeable and most helpful and we came away with about all we could process before actually driving the car for awhile. The financing, handled by Kevin Mark was simple, quick and friendly. The car seemed properly prepared and we are happy with it. More

The price of the car I wanted to buy was slightly higher than my total budget, then he negotiate with his boss for discount. This is really helpful for me, and I decided to buy one from him.
